I just had to do this :chuckle:

So on my commutes to school and back, I notice a lot of things that happen on the road. What seems to catch my eyes a lot are A/C. Anyways, I've seen about 5 A/C's yesterday and today combined (4 [2.5s] & 1 [3.5SR]) and decided for once that I should pay close attention to the drivers :D

1st A/C (2.5s): Radiant Silver, driven by a blonde girl, puts on her makeup while she's driving!
2nd A/C (2.5s): Dark Slate: Brunette lady, talking on the phone with the windows down
3rd A/C (2.5s): Torch Red? or Red Alert?: Brunette lady, dancing at the red light to Tyga "Faded" :mike
4th A/C (2.5s): Majestic Blue?: Heavy set guy, hollering at girls waiting at the red light to cross blasting some underground stuff :naughty:
5th A/C (3.5sr): Crimson Black: Brunette Asian lady, cutting in and out of traffic during rush hour and slamming on the breaks to the point where you can hear the tires 5 cars back :nono:

So, for fun, I'm wondering what you guys do in your coupes?

I'll start it off: I like to hit corners at 25-30 mph when my girl is putting on her make-up :rotflmao it looks like this ------- connecting her eye wings to her hair hahaha!

No one is innocent at the wheels, let's see what you guys got :dblthumb:

I'll be honest, I have a 2.5, but I drive it as if it was a 3.5. If only I could go back in time..

This thread is awesome!

Judging by your observations of AC drivers, 80% of them you came across were women! Not sure if this bodes well for us....

So, me? I'm tall, I have the seat leaned back, and I drive spiritedly. I live in New England where potholes are plentiful, so I spend my time dodging those as well. Its like an autocross track around here.

quick acceleration to hear my exhaust and intake roar and then drive pretty normally (got 4 points and had to convince the judge not to take my license) unless someones really pisses me off. and i've seen ~10-15 coupes at my work, 7 or 8 are 2.5s and 6 or 7 drivers are college girls.

Wasnt questioning your math, just making further note on the 2.5:female ratio.

I know :)

Good point. I wish I had access to data on 3.5 and 2.5 owner gender. Would be fun to see.

I personally see more females in 3.5s. Just about every 3.5 I see, and AC for that matter, is driven by a female. Gosh I love females.

As for me in my AC...Im usually crawling along in traffic, cursing at other drivers or my head unit (in a polite way), and chugging coffee. Pretty much the only time I drive is to and from work, all on major highways. When I do get the chance to drive leisurely Im accelrating out of corners and letting the Y Pipe/Borla scream. I used to be a bit more of a frequent "spirited" driver at all times, but now when Im in my car commuting all I want to do is get home without having some idiot hit me...again.

hahaa. I like to drive like a gangster when it's slow or traffic :lolling: you know the one had on the top of the steering wheel, trying to look tough when the civic next to me looks in. but once i get the speed up then i like to get comfortable in the seat and get my hands on 3 and 9 :dblthumb:

I drive my 2.5 like a 3.5. And have had people think it was one. I like to drive fast, but know when to and when not to, it's worked for me so far. No tickets on my license as of yet. I dont talk on my cell, eat or drink in my car and listen to music all the time :)! I dont drive like an a$$*le, but if I'm behind you and your driving relativly slow, I'm guaranteed to be passing you first opportunity I get. I frequently have people try and keep me from doing that but I still do it lol :naughty: ! I like to take corners fast, and put stupid ricers in their place :yesnod !

Well.. when i used to drive my 02 Pathfinder.... the music was up... and there was absolutely no silence when i was at a stop light or leaving it... courtesy of the exhaust and subs.. ._. never "hawlered at dem bishez" though. and seeing as im asian and staying true to my stereotype.... ducking and weaving in traffic... but nto many people stayed in front of me anyways cuz of the big ol bull bar.... let you guys know once the car gets to the dealership.... It arrived in the province 2 days ago by train and is being off loaded.

I hate following, unless its a caravan. :chuckle:

I run low RPM and low music as I come through my "hood" :yesnod

Stop lights are a great place to test your 0 to max-speed-limit times. :bigthumb:

When a pieced together Honda pulls up to the light with me and revs his motor, I just laugh on the inside and cruise on slowly as if I dont see him. :facepalm2

When any American "Muscle" car pulls up: EDIT 5th Amendment :shifter:

When a nicer import pulls up on me: I roll down my window and tell them to join Nico and come to Carlilse.

Soon after I go over 100mph I start hearing a voice that says "Dad! Slow down!"

Honestly cant remember the last time I got a ticket that stuck. Maybe 5 years ago or 7. Lots of warnings. :naughty:

lol this is too funny...well, I love to take care of my car, I'm usually the guy dodging all those potholes and other black holes found on jersey roads haha. I'm always bumpin' to house music, hate people looking at me when they pull up next to me (that's why tints come in handy =]), I hate ricers so I just choose to laugh at them rather than wasting my time with them lol, like to book it on the parkway whenever I get the chance to, well when there are no cops around haha. I guess I act pretty normal, no road rage, no yelling, just...meditating and appreciation for my 3.5 =].

I like to hear my nismo exhaust as much as possible, and I have 20k miles on my car and already need new pads, so thats how i drive, plus the front tires are looking a bit bald. Did I mention I probably get about 15 mpg??? lol But I'm young, I have the rest of my life to drive slow and mature!!!

im usually bumping electro house music, tool or sublime in my car. i like to take my corners kinda fast, i like to feel the turn.
i guess im pretty observant of other drivers, but i think that just comes with being aware of all the cars around me. i dont drive like a jackass, but i guess i do accelerate a bit quicker. i always drive just a bit above the speed limit, but not enough to consider it speeding. i do hate driving behind slow drivers, or really tall vehicles, so if that happens i will pass them up. if there is an empty lane available i will switch lanes, as i like to drive with nothing in front of me.
i dont eat or smoke while DRIVING my coupe. i will read texts, but for the most part dont reply to them. i talk as brief as possible on the phone if i can, when i do.

My music is random, ranging from deep house, techno, dance to rock and metal. Got some rap on there, but not the crap that's put out there today. I usually let my ipod do the choosing. Always keeping a watch on everyone else on the road, and very aware of my surroundings. Don't need anything happening to my baby while in her, yanno? *no pun intended* My driving speeds are usually around highway speed limits. I like to speed, but only when there's not so many people around me. It almost hurts to attempt it, only to have to slam on the brakes when someone short stops. Definitely no smoking or eating in my car, and I don't put my phone to my ear while driving. Not only do I not want to get a ticket, it's just as easy to talk with the speakerphone. When people tailgate me, I like to slow down way below their intended speed. I'm already above the speed limit, why drive so close to me? Go away. My car is my baby, and since she treats me right, I do the same for her. Never had a problem with just driving around, taking in the sights. Oh, and f*ck potholes. Sneaky little bastards.
