1) Why did you put a 350Z in your post

2) Why did you desicrate that buy making it look ugly as hell

3) Why is this not in the wheels/suspension forum

coilovers, camber adjustment kit, weight reduction, LSD, good brakes, shift turn knob, nice shift knob, nice stearing wheel, and a radio : )

The most important thing you need is skills. With that, you can drift anything.

put really grippy tires on the front and really bald tires on the back, that will help you start drifting. (natural selection at work...hehehehe)

take your car... put big fat meaty parada spec 2's in front and donuts on back. go to a parkinglot with lots of curbs but no cars. keep it at 15 miles an hour.

feint the car out and than swing the car in to the turn, punch the gas, to the sliping point but not much past, basicly feather the gas. once car swings out, immeadiatly counter steer. hehe thats drifting.

along suspension lines get a good set of coilovers with pillowball mounts. "JIC, Tein," look to spend 1200-3000 USD on a drift car suspension. a two way limited slip is good to, but sucks for normal driving.

once you get good power "sr20" than replace the rear tires with normals hehe.

Why in the world would you want to swap out a 287hp engine for a 205hp SR20 in a brand new car??? want jdm? Do a RB swap, swapping a LESS powerful engine in a car is pointless!

:drooling ...who said anything about a motor swap, if you are reffering to the 350Z read the posts, he just put it in there for no reason. No one is swapping a SR into a 350Z... actually some idiot probably is, but not him.

yeah man, im all for it. make sure you practice with your friends around and their rides (car club perhaps?). just start messing around you'll figure it out. you wanna be like takumi i bet...good stuff man...all the power to you!

honestly the best setup for your type of driving style would be:

Arospeed coilovers and stock struts...drop it on its nutsUniveral N1 style muffler kicked off to the side (for that JDM dori look)get some strut bars for front and back off ebay (cheaper the better)id say skip the swap and do a filter on the KA (pep boys has the filters)make sure that if you paint the valve cover it matches the air ventsyou'll want some 17's all around for the drift look...like some Katana or some 10 spoke knockoffsmake sure you represent with some Nismo graphics

and thats about it really. good luck!

what he's saying is that, the whole post by GARAGE BATTLE was a complete joke, sarcasm, and you should not of taken him serious, and those parts he told you to get are crap, and he basically told you what NOT to do, instead of what TO do, therefore the term 'sarcasm'....get it?

arospeed are garbage...the N1 muffler is good, but he was being sarcastic saying "that jdm dori look".....the strut bars, you dont really want anything from ebay...he was kidding about the KA, thats not the best drift motor, and you never want anything from pep boys, lol....you dont want a valve cover to match you vents, lol....you dont necessarly want knock off rims of any sort.....and u dont need graphics, lol.....

Jesse doesn't work for me. He just has my link in his signature because we're friends. : ) The Apexi N1 Cat-Back Exhaust comes with the swap. Truly, you don't want to just jump into something like this, 99% of the "drifters" here can't drift. It's as simple as that, it's not something you pick up in a weekend contrary to what they say in Super Street. : ) Things are coming along nicely, and hopefully everything will be taken care of shortly. I would suggest reading everything you can, and then asking what you don't know. Enjoy your day!

Have fun, just don't get too eager to drift fast. Someone said start slow, do it. I allready banged up my car once and after putting money into it to tune it, I might not be so eager to do so again. Learn before you leap....

Have fun.

you might want to get a good suspension set up first.

Adj shocks, coilover, springs, camber plates you need a lot of cambers anyways. I run negative 3 degree.maybe good reinforced bars to stiffen your chassis as well.

Good clutch type LSD such as KAAZ, CUSCO or NISMO etc....Viscous LSD is just fine but far from those good aftermaket LSDs.

Unless you got enought power to keep rear tires spining, Don't even think about runing Big *** rims such as 17" or 18".15" light weight alloy rims are good enough for this task.

Oh, by the way the most important thing is " DRIVER "Yes, driver.

I've personally seen Alex (Battle Version) drifted his PURE STOCK S13 with an "OPEN DIFF". He actually made a big circle at 2nd gear, even CHOKU DORI in straight.......more

good luck
