Post jacking? Rude remarks? What are you going on about man?

I just wanted to make certain that we were talking about the same vehicle.

I wasn't "jacking". I was merely referencing my own puzzlement way back when about my trip odometer.

Yep... Trip/Odo display shows, Low brake pads, low washer fluid, low Gas, transmission malfunction and possibly more. Those not seeing any of these indicators may mean you are doing the right thing in taking care of your cars and not letting fluids fall to levels which require attention.

For the initial poster... pull your battery cable overnight to perform a full reset. That might help... otherwise keep your fluids up and you should not see any messages.

My FSM references messages that my MY does not display like brake pads as the sensors were discontinued halway through the 1995 MY.

True, keep those fluids full and fresh!

Failure to remove and clean washer tank can lead to a stuck sensor that won't respond to a low fluid level.....somewhat common after 10 years.

Failure to use distilled or demineralized water with proper solvent mixture can leave centimeters of slime in bottom, jam the pump and outlet nozzles depending on local water supplies mineral content,

The same thing over processed tap water does to humans

Its amazing -- five years on NICO and there's still new tidbits of info!

I've never seen a countdown. I've owned a 90 and 92 and they've only said "LOW FUEL" without a specific number of miles to empty. I know, running a G50 that low on gas is a death wish.
