I have these very small ant like insects around my kitchen counters and sink, they are very fast moving and are not responding to ant traps I have put out. I live in SW, FL, do not cook, but it appears that even if I place a cup of coffee on the counter which may leave a ring will attract them. How can I control or eliminate these tiny pests?

Determine what the pests are first. Try and capture one. DOA but with identifying characteristics intact.

Sounds like argentine ants to me here too. Smudge one between your fingers and take a wiff, if the smell pungent, then thats argentine ants. See the post above.
