OMG I LOVE HARD PARKING SO MUCH WHERE DO I APPLY OMG OMG I HAVE CIVIC TAILLIGHTS AND CELICA HEADLIGHTS AND MY CAR NEVER MOVES OFF THE CARPET!!

Those of you who think Elitism is bad should take a step back and realize how wrong you are and punish yourself. Elitism is what brought out companies like Lamboghini and Ferarri. Elitism is class and strive for perfection. We don't have time to diddle daddle with you folks who just don't "get it".
I used to have a turbocharged 240sx, but I sold it. What for? Definitely not some turbocharged Civic or anything. I got an MR2 turbo. Why? Because, I didn't want to take a step down the ladder. Because the MR2 is also one of the few TRUE japanese sports cars. This will be the one time in my life where I can have a two seater sports car and not worry about things like kids, and other BS. Another reason is because of this: The 1/4 mile is not the end all and be all of vehicle performance. I run the 1320 in about 13.5ish seconds, but that doesn't really matter to me because for every straight there are countless amounts of corners.

Come on... you are an intelligent person who's goals/preferences for cars are just different than the majority of active members here. Yes, there are a handful of guys here who are being a bit over-the-top... but don't hold that against the entire forum. Obviously the social atmosphere here is different than most car forums you have recruited from. We value community (I know that hasn't been illustrated in this particular thread) more than shiny paint and the ear splitting decibel levels one can generate with a car stereo. You are MORE than welcome here, but it's probably just not going to be a good place to look for "team" members.

Greg- Every forum should be welcoming. If they choose not to be part of team fine no one was forcing them. Unstead they are just rude. I go to forums to talk to people and enjoy myself not to see how hard people can try to get me to never come back to their forum. Not only have I just been on Honda forums, but I have been on IS300 Forums, G20 Forums, Toyota forums, muscle car forums, etc. All of those forums had very nice people even when I asked if they would like to be part of our team.

Just know that we're not ALL rude! Who knows... maybe your presence here could change the attitudes of some people.
I think one of the things people object to... is newcomers who make their first post a recruiting effort for a group or product. The site admins and owners have made it pretty clear... if you want to tap the resources of this community... become PART of the community FIRST. A lot of our sponsors are active members who answer tech questions, add their own personal input, and contribute with more than just advertising fees. I realize you're not here looking to make a quick buck... but it looks a little overzealous of you to jump in head first and assume people here are going to be receptive to your offer.
In other words... I think that if you had established yourself as an active member first, your idea/offer would have been met with FAR less skepticism and abuse.
