hose behind quater panel s13 hatch

I found this hose in my trunk behind the driver side quater panel one end is connected to something but I can't see it can only feel cuz its inbetween the quaterpanel and the metal for the trunk interior the other end is not connected to anything. Anyone know what its for?

How thick is it? Maybe it is the rear windshield washer fluid hose if your hatch has/used to have a rear wiper.
