Thanks guys!! Right now I'm waiting on paint to arrive, I ordered some from touchupdirect.com. Hopefully it matches well, I need to at least paint the bumper and nose panel and either paint the whole hood or just blend it.

And yes I found a TT bumper locally, my bumper was in about 3 or 4 pieces.. no way it was salvageable haha

These guys make some great matching stuff, and their service has been very good:

I repainted my nose panel with their products and am very satisfied.

Yeah I found out about them after ordering from the other site, if I need more I'll probably get it from them.

Its been a couple weeks since I've update, but I was waiting on paint and also waiting on warm weather (which doesn't seem to want to come to New Jersey). I finished wet sanding and painting both the new bumper and nose panel, and also painting the new core support. I managed to get all the intake piping back in along with my old NA radiator (I had upgrade to an aluminum TT one). I started it up and it runs great, so there was no real mechanical damage.

I still need to sand down the hood, fill it, sand it a few more times, and then paint it. Right now we just banged it straight with a hammer and 2x4.

Here's a somewhat poorly lit picture of how it sits right now:

There's still alot of tweaking left, I need to get the headlights and nose panel to sit properly, etc. But it's progress!

Coming along nicely.

I think by the time it's done, you won't want to sell her anymore! After all the sweat and blood, you'll be saying "we've been through too much together for me to let her go!"

^^^^True stuff there, I always wondered about the guys who are selling the freshly rebuilt motor/trans cars.
Anyway, looking great...stay at it! :dblthumb:

Looks great! Congratulations on the revival!

Now, you know guys on the road are gonna pick on you when they see the TT bumper and try to race you, right? Hahaha!

Hahaha yeah I know it's bound to happen at some point. It was the only bumper available at the time :gapteeth:

Looks great. Good work. Good turnaround time on it. Wish more people would do this rather than parting out.
