YESS.. I'd like some super loud horns... so loud it could kill one of those stupid bunnies if I honked within 10 feet of those dumb creatures.

Has anyone modified their horns?

hella makes some horns that are very loud. I never heard em, but a friend of mine in another state has them on her prelude, and she says they make people jump out of their seats when she hits it. I think they were like 85 bucks though.

I know someone who had them on their STI.

They're L O U D.

Honestly, I'd rather just have a microphine with an external speaker or something so I can just yell at people instead of honk.

My buddies and I used to all have that in our cars in highschool, but those aren't nearly loud enough.. not the cheap ones anyway.. plus, me yelling isn't as scary as a SUPER loud horn.. hahah.

LOL...i've been wondering if i could get a horn off of some other car in a junkyard or something and use it instead. i guess it would just have to be rated at the same wattage and amps or something..? i have no knowledge of horns.

I bought an air horn off ebay for use on my Q (which had the WIMPIEST horn)...

Easy install, and it's loud as hell (and have had no problems with it in the 2 years it's been on the car).

I was looking at that one too. I like that it is one piece and is plug and play.

JC Whitney man... the Hella Supertones are nice, but super-expensive, i can't wait to make my friend who is all about the Hella's crap her pants when she hears my horn, since it's like $40 cheaper than what she's getting

I just picked up a set of those Fiamm's at Pepboys. They have high and low tones. I got the high ones.

MY dad for some reason bought one of those "Ahooga!" horns last year and wanted to get it installed on his Jeep. So my friend and I put it in for him. My dad is 72 years old, so I figure he might as well have his fun with them. It really gets people's attention and the last place they figure the noise came from is a Wrangler.

I wonder what these Fiamm ones will sound like. Throw up those horns!

edit: Oh yeah they were 14 bucks each!

Florida240SX thinks as I do I see. Just flip the PA switch and tell that a**hole that just cut you off exactly what you think of him/her. Go to Radio Shack and get a weatherproof PA horn to plug in. As far as how loud it is, I'm sure it's plenty loud enough. Ever had someone yell in your general direction through one of these?

Your horn not working could end up being a very bad thing. Stuff like that is really important.

Tough, you could just attach a clown horn to your side mirror and squeze it when you need it...

Lol, yea, an HKB hub doesn't work on a 240 equipped with cruise control. I don't feel like explaining now, but it doesn't. I need to get another hub.

Just had that horn installed that i had pictured above. Eh, it's louder than stock but it's still the *beep* sound. Not agressive enough. I don't know what to go with next. We'll see. I'll probably go with Hella's or the Fiamm freeway horn.

Can you guys show how to install the Fiamm horns? I just bought a pair and installed them, but for some reason they don't work.

Do you have to crimp the stock wires to fit the female clips, or can you use the stock relay wires?
