If you add some fins there, the protuding part could work as a small intercooler, even the tube could work as a cooling the air.I will like to see the faces of Rustang and crapvettes drooling over the "thing" that is sticking out.

I don't think it would do near enough good. That is what the reason you have the IC, a couple of fins wouldn't disappate enough heat in an engine bay.

It would however succeed in making the gayest looking intake ever

Did you ever say what the price point was anticipated at? Can it be built for galley feed?

We are not sure on pricing yet as we dont have a production manifold. We are unsure at this time what it is going to take to fabricate the curved runners. We also still need to dyno test this manifold and see what type of gains we get. If gains are minimal, there would be no point in building it. I dont think this will be the case though. We gained 60 whp at points with our VSR intake on our 2.3L RR Evo motor.

What do you mean by galley feed?

It is not our original intent to make them fit with the stock rail. We will see where the stanchions end up. It may end up being easy to use them as well with little to no modification. I would not count on it however.

There will be a slight delay with the testing. We are having engine management issues. The ECU should be back at the shop next week.

DUH!!!

but seriously, the car was strapped to the dyno, it just didnt get run, because the ecu has a damaged ground trace and was messing with the sensors.
