A couple months ago a guy in a PT Cruiser rolled up beside me and asked if I wanted to race. I've seen the same thing from a guy in a chevelle and another one in a corvette. It's all kinds of people in all kinds of cars lol. If someone is proud of their car they wanna show it off. Except for the guy in the pt cruiser...what the hell man lol.

here is a couple of things that were misinterpreted... i never called hondas rice... i never said that they were slow, and i agree that they can be and sometimes are much faster that 240's... I also never said that only hondas try to race, but they are the ones that try to race the most cuz there are more of them out there... i never said that all honda drivers are unbelievable

The car looked like that but wasnt exactly like that... it had that jdm spoiler that sits on the hatch...

When he challenged me to race, the freeway was congested with big rigs and other cars with only 4 lanes... which is why it seemed completely unbelievable that someone would try to race in such a dangerous area and time... theres a limit

Wrong, actually I used to work at a car dealer in butler, so I drove there on 422 err' day. I now do alot of travel into ohio, wv, va,md area for my current job. I like driving on I77 in Ohio, talk about a long stretch of boring highway with nothing but tittie bars and p0rn shops.

I don't even know why, but i just sat here and read this whole thread of ranting and stereotyping (not everyone). Anyways, I am just going to say that I have had a s13 with a RB20 (and put over $1000 extra into upgrades) and I have a Honda prelude with a JDM H22 (all JDM stock except the mandatory header swap for the install).

Side by side at the trackmy prelude is about a second slower in the 1/4 mile and that is mostly due to the initial "launch". I haven't had to to anything to my prelude to keep it up and running besides oil changes and new brake pads.

Both cars are awesome, but I prefer the simplicity of my honda over my turbo'd s13.

And, to get back on topic here: I am living proof!! It's not the car, it's the driver. I'm just a guy that loves to drive, likes to race if it seems safe, and rev's at everybody modified, but here that is more of a greeting or an invitation to meet and "talk shop" about our cars in a friendly manner.

ok it doesnt even matter if you dont wanna race on the street then dont your decision, if you do go balls to the wall who cares, its doesnt matter its your decision some guys biuld cars to go fast some biuld for self pride and a sense of accomplishment and some both.

nissan, ford, chevy, toyota all tuners have there bad apples. those guys we discard and we move on. thats all. everybody wants to let loose sometime ya kno. its not a bad thing people with slow cars drive fast

at the shop we see all walks of life from all motor hondas goin 10's on spray all the way up to 2000hp big block chevys. and whats funny is that every customer had the fastest in thier eyes wether it made 200hp or a 1000 and thats what made it worth it.

so nissans arent rice neitha are hondas we all have a common goal and thats to have fun! at least thats what i grew up on. theres always goin to be competition but thats in almost everything you do in life

Oh, I know there are fast cars out there. The two cars I'm building will definitely be faster than my bike. I'm talking about actual rice, all show no go (sometimes no show and no go, but a fart can) doing stupid s*** to get me to race. It would be hilarious if they weren't endangering my life by acting like idiots.

^ i agree, there are a lot of idiots out there and most of them tend to be honda ricers. so it's easy to generalize. sometimes i feel bad for honda owners like us that have a clean ride but still get called rice because of the bad rep they have from ricers in the past. even 240's are getting ridiculous, just take a look around this forum and it's not that hard to spot. (like the dude that wants to trade his 511 hp "sil80" for a $25k supra that don't know how to drain his catch can lol)

Well i dont know what hes gunna do with it... but he just got that 5speed swap so hes just tryin to learn stick... but he also has a clean a$$ AUTO s14... he wants to go sr wit it, but i say he get a 5 speed and boosts his KA... which is always amazing
