of the few times i try to race someone on the HWY, its usually against something that would DEFINATELY beat me. i more or less do it because i want to hear their car, or see how fast it is.

case-in-point: yesterday actually, i was messin around with a CTS-V. And wow, theyre fast. not to mention it sounded pretty pissed off..

One time i was in a honda, saw a s13 on the frwy and ended up next to him. Was gonna give him a thumbs up to let him know i was diggin his car. But than he tried racing me and started punching it, slowing down, and kept doing this. Also swerving left to right nascar style like warming up his tires. I thought and nissan guys say honda guys are the ricers.

Last night we decided to go check out a different meet here in Cali. On the way there this evo was trying to race like 6 of us on the freeway the whole way there. So he was doing a ricer fly by once again and I stuck my hand out and gave him a thumbs down and he took that super bad. He followed us to where we were going and was pissed and asking who was driving my car. The guy was just harassing us non stop so finally a buddy grabbed a bat out of his trunk and just told them to leave. The guy then pulled a gun on us.... He then parked a couple spots down the row and just sat there with his lights off. We called the police and he finally left 10 minutes later. What a night.

This thread leaves me with no regret for leaving Nissans and going to Hondas. Im on a mainly Honda forum and I dont see Nissan bashing daily. I'm going to be the first guy in this thread man enough to say I've raced on the street before and I've drifted on the street before. Some of the fastest cars I've ever seen have been racing from a roll. You guys all need to pull your heads out of your asses and realize we all have one common goal, To modify our cars and enjoy them.

Clifs: Shut up with the Honda hate and take a look around at your next "240sx meet omg grtness!" and see how many of them have KA's with an I/H/E and a ricer wing...It happens everywhere not just with Honda's.

i love my 240 and nissans in general. but most of the friends i have that are into "tuning" are into hondas. and i have to say they are completly the opposite of rice. the cars are all stock aero with money into suspension,swaps , and engine mods.ricers are a type of people not so much a brand of car. im starting to see less riced out civics and more riced out 240s everyday .

edit: BTW i would be considered the most rice of of the group i cruise with because i have HIDs and subs and thats not even rice
