Anyway after 5 min of googling, found out that Matrix Motorsports and Anzo USA makes Halo angel eyes/projector headlights. I know theres gotta be more reputable companies that can make these.

Heres their websites: http://www.tunedbymatrix.com/http://www ... /p....html

Someone, contact them.

i have yet to see GOOD aftermarket projectors...if it comes down to it...i think buying some cheap eaby ones (whenever they come out) and retrofitting TSX projectors in them will be the way to go

Not really. It can be done and it has been done. I also investigated this awhile back ago but not for the AC. It was for my bike and CCFL was too brittle and too costly. I had this done on my bike and it has a similar housing as our AC in which it reflects the interior of the headlights like you mentioned. Here's some pic of it so just imagine it on the AC.

Now, when the headlights are on, it does drown out the rings unlike CCFLs but that's because the rings are not around projectors. However, it does look wicked cool! To each's own I guess

this is probably what a ton of people will do.....aftermarket projectors always suck.

now about the retrofitting.....will it be as easy as taking out the aftermarket projector lenses, and replacing with the TSX lens?

Umniitza was one of the companies I contacted. They said they can't do it - maybe if more people show interest it'd be good to go but after one look at the headlights they said it'd be almost impossible

Umintza sponsers another forum and asked for interest, a lot of people said yeah its only like 30 mins from my house and what not....and then he said that owner of the test vehicle has to pay $200 for the R&D to get these mass produced so everybody said Fukk it

maybe it is but the companies I contacted said no. Another company I tried was sharkracing - they said they might be able to do it but they'd need someone to send them their headlights for a couple of months (they're located in korea) and they weren't even willing to pay for that prototype set. bastards. if someone's willing to drive blind (figuratively and literally) into this by all means.

Here's an example of their stuff:http://www.sharkracing.com/ace...01000

here's the thread I started two months ago regarding this - you'll be able to see some correspondence I had with the companies:http://forums.altimas.org/zerothread?id=316766

heyy i am sitting on a 3ed Gen here and i have made a set of these eyes...they are sick and amazing but there is a huge trick. to get the light output desired its important to use high MCD LED's. i have 2 18000MCD LED's in each ring. i have yet to install them....im waiting for a good day. anyway thats my $.02

They must be affixed to the top of the housing, which we cannot due since the top of the headlight unit is visible.

woa, how similar are our headlights to the Maximas headlights? or maybe even the G35 or G37? lets think even more outside the box.

PS: Bourne. not to be a d!ck or anything but save the GTA IV sig pic for the video game forums. i kno its a sick game. but show off your altima. i havnt seen one pic

the only headlight which looks even remotely similar to our headlights are the Nissan Teana headlights. They do have a projector version for it, so our best bet is to wait for some to come out on ebay and retrofit the entire headlight (since it's like the samel ayout almost as our)
