Man, I could honestly plan the sickest trip for you in NS...

If you bring the G35, I would avoid going on the bridge, just driving across is free, it's when you want to go back it costs $40.

You would want to see the Cabot Trail, it's one of the top places to drive in the whole world... a must for any east Canadian G owners or car enthusiasts period.

Fortress of Luisburg, something like that, is the oldest fortress in North America, really accurately re-enacted -- that's probably what your wife wanted to see.

Oh, and there is a bunch of fun stuff to do around here, many beaches, surfing. I can tell you where to get the biggest fish and chips in the city. They are each 21 oz. Cod fillets with a beer/pankake batter mix, it is to die for if you even remotely like fish, or anything deep fried and tasty.

Good beaches for you to check out...Cow Bay (surf spot)Lawrencetown (good surf spot)Martinique (awesome long flat sand beach)Peggy's Cove Lighthouse (good roads to and from the city - Huge arse waves)

Good GolfingGlen ArbourHartlen PointBrightwoodGreenwood

Best foodItalian - Ryan Duffy'sChinese - Great Wall RestaurantIndian - Taj MahalJapanese - Sushi Nami Royale or Hamachi sushi houseSteak house - the Keg / Hamachi steak houseBreakfast - Cora's or Apple barrel

Take the kids to go kart at Kartbahn - wife can shop in Bayer's Lake or Mic Mac Mall... Anything else let me know... Oh, and don't stay at the Citadel hotel, or the Delta..

You would like the Raddisson if it's available, it has big suites (every room) and they are great housekeepers, I stay there all the time, I hate the other ones in the city, unless you go to the holiday inn in Dartmouth...

Good luck, enjoy your stay

I too have a KA24DE in my 98 altima, I can easily get over 600-700km on a tank of premium... I think youre o2 sensors are fouled or something, you will get more response in the 240 section of nico forums. Good luck!!!

Zozo! It's eastern Canada, it's not big city nights or anything, there is no canada's wonderland, there is no toronto zoo... It's the rejected eastern seaboard of nova scotia, total poppulation 380,000 (Halifax 08), and we don't have the 401 or the gardiner expressway. Our roads are shoddy, so be prepared for that!!

I can't recall your kids ages, but I can tell you some of the best resorts in the area... You and your family would love to stay at White Point beach resort, it's around $170 - $300 per night, but you get a cottage (family size) right on the beach of the open ocean. Likewise, you would enjoy Oceanstone, it has a wide variety of accommodations- all right on the water, they have suites, cottages, and small homes for rent, it's a 5 star, there is a suite with a big hot tub right in the living room with a fireplace, that's where I've always stayed, $225 per night.

I'll keep thinking of things for you guys to do... Oh yeah, for historicall stuff, you would want to visist Citadel hill, it's a star shaped fortress in downtown halifax... There is point pleasant park, York Redout (Historical war Parks)...

Check out http://www.halifax.ca for more info click on visitors.Destination Halifax will have a wealth of resources for you to observe

The most miles I've driven on a tank of gas is 475 or 764 km. The most miles per gallon I've recorded is 28. MPG is a load of crap as a unit of measure anyway.

Some day I will drive my G 500 miles on one tank. It should be possible, it's only 25 MPG in order to do so and cruising on a road trip should produce that result. Don't take this the wrong way, I don't grandma my G, just that sometimes, like some of you, I see what it can do in the opposite manner in terms of engineering.

Bro, the les people I see the better it is. I love nature and history.

Believe me 401 will be the last thing I miss. Wonderland is good once a year. Worth to see my wifes face. She is so scared on every damn ride but she goes on every single one of them. When she comes down she swear never again till I ask her if she wants to go to the next. LOL

Never been in the Zoo. I don't like caged wild animals. I love them on the wide open field. Safari park I went few times when my son was younger. He is 14 he does not care about it anymore. Last 2 years we went up north.

Any nice caves you got there? Waterfalls or something?

I'll check out the fortress for sure. We'll see the hope well rocks in NB, will stop buy Quebec city. I love the old Quebec city.

I'll visit Luisburg for sure too.

Smockey

You always get some great mpg. I don't usually have steady foot. LOL I have tendency to go. Never use cruise controll either. Don't like same speed. I am better lately. I can see that on my gasmilage but it changes time to time. Some day just get the itch and go for a spirited driving.
