Hey everyone, just reporting that I tried to drive really carefully and slow to get maximum MPG, well, so far I have only flogged the car three or four times and I have over 360KM on a half tank.

I usually drive really hard, and have only achieved up to 21mpg HWY MAX!!! And at a half tank, the odo would usually read 150-200km.

So, I think right now I'm around 22-23mpg which is crazy for me, I'm usually happy with 16-18 mixed driving... just thought I'd put this out there for anyone who feels or drives like I usually do... I think my recent switch to Amsoil synthetic from Mobile 1 may have helped also... Trying royal purple next time.

So far on my 2 tanks I drive hard occasionally (still enjoying having some power). But on the way to work I'm light as possible and have had a few hwy trips, getting 350 miles to a tank (not all the way to E) and 21.6 mpg each time.

I am all over the places. Usually I get 370-400 km on a tank. But lately I behave a lot more than I used to. So I am getting 470-500km. I'll be on a trip in July to the east coast. We shall see what I am getting that time.

Nice Milage on the G37x!!!I drive 90miles daily to and from work. I have had the car for 2wks and have manage to get 340miles per 3/4 of the tank (about 15gal). This is about 23mpg. I dont drive like a granny My drive is a mix of back roads and highway, making my average speed about 55mph. Apparently the new transmittion is doing its part (7-speeds ), since at crusing speeds, the engine is going at about 2000 RPMS.I definitlly look forward, for the engine to loosen up, since this will help a bit with milage. If you want to save gas, you dont need to drive slow, just dont slam the accel., this has help me a lot!!

See if that efficiency keeps up though. I recall when I drastically changed my driving habits, the MPG increased by 20%, but all subsequent fill-ups fell slightly.

Well honestly I think it is all about driving style, conditions are just a factor in the equation.

I usually just floor it in every passing zone to get past as many cars as I can, that kills my highway mileage - for obvious reasons.

Now on this tank, I try to just do the flow of traffic. I think I may hit the 600km+ mark on this tank, with 50% hwy, and 50% city usage on 91 octane... That only happened to me once before, I got 635km after hitting a track event out of town... it was a long drive, all highway on Mobile 1 5w30, I think I even had a NOS fuel octane boost in er' as well.

Conclusion: The G35 likes to spit fire, but it will also be a docile grammy cruiser if you let it.

my last fill up on 93 i got 22.7 mpg... i averaged between 80-90 mph on my trip to southern ga to a wedding. so i think it would of been much better at 70mph... but the g35 dont like 70mpg... itll sit at 80 with out tring.

mixed driving i been consistantly getting 19-20mpg.

i use shell or chevron 93, which ever in closest to when i need gas...

I usually avg about 21 mpg or so...I don't drive my car too much with travel for work, so when i get home i usually romp on her a bit to remember what acceleration feels like Best take i ever averaged was 28 mpg on a 5 hour trip to nothern PA. This weekend i'll be doing some more good gas mileage as i'll be driving to VIR to go watch some races.

Yeah, city driving sucks, I just moved on the ocean, It only takes me 20-25min to get to work right downtown... before I moved, it would take me 45 min just to get to the outskirts of the city in traffic. So happy to be out of the busy sections in rush hour...

It's nothing crazy, but it's a nice place to live, really quiet (until I fire up my nissans) and I have a nice view of the ocean, dog loves the space, and GF loves it, that's what counts

My latest results are in my signature.

How do I stack up in kilometers per gallon or liters?
