I'm sad, though, because they tell us that this is a 100mb/sec connection. 83mb is not 100mb. I think it's shared building-by-building, so I guess I shouldn't complain. They're working on 1gb/sec now, though...

Oh, and our wireless is just as fast...

And this is the wireless. Twice as fast with the hardline. Not too shabby.

My roomate just got back from a LAN party in KC. It was at this doctor's house with a T1. Because he was hosting two servers for two very big named torrent uploaders (read his servers were permanent seeders) they were limited to 15Mbps up and down as not to bottle neck the servers too much.

Now if only I could see his connection really was, because T1 is limited to 1Mbps. How they got 15Mbps...? Maybe it was a fiber optic connection?

That's from free internet... lol.

I get it wireless at 36mbps.

I can get it from 4 different sources from my room. That one is the fastest/strongest.

Edit: Haha, I just fix the actual houses internet connection. It's much faster... I never actually realised how MUCH faster it was.

I pick it up at 80mbps.

That is why I put up two readings from two different servers. That was done at a high traffic time around 12:40 in the afternoon. I should hit it up right now when traffic is dead.
