HY's have a slightly smaller compressor housing than the HX. HY's were used on auto equipped Dodge cummins trucks while the HX was used on manual trans trucks. They're both decent turbos, and very reasonably priced.

SSAC, well actually XO2....basically the same type deal just rebadged. I saw your thread about the manifolds, I just didn't give my opinion becuse you said no SSAC. Honestly though, I haven't been running it long enough (only ~600 mi) to have an opinion myself. It came with all hardware needed and the installation was easy, fitment great, so in that respect I think it was a really good deal. We'll just have to see how long it holds up, as I have not reinforced it in any way (except for the heat wrap, haha).
