RWD with lots of torque just requires practice to drive in snow. I have driven RWD all my life, ya gotta go easy on the throttle to get moving, starting in second or third gear helps a lot of course tyres with good size sipes (sideway slots cut into the tread) helps too. Unfortuneatly I have AVS-ES100s and they have practically no snow grip. You have to pay attention to what kinda ground yer on. Wet and slushy snow is like water which is ok. In dry snow ya gotta be careful, dont go too hard into corners or ya might push. If the rear starts to kick out and you have some room, steer smoothly into the skid, straighten slowly so as not to skid the other way. To regain rear traction put in the clutch (get off the gas if yer auto) and let the rear wheels match the ground. Then slowly let the clutch back in to pick up momentum. One of the big things is to maintain momentum, if ya gotta, trucker/cali stop at stopsigns.Chi-town snow fun
