How often do you see a 240sx thats yellow, NEVAR! thats why :P

Yellow and black will compliment eachother nicely too.

coat 7 didnt go on so lucky, its been nothing but stress and it totally F'd everything up, so Ill leave it looking like crap until my sideskirts arrive... mount my whole body kit and go from there - its pretty annoying to spend all this time and mess up on the last coat so it looks like crap

Was thinking about the turbos... but I do want to be able to drive this occasionally, and not be spending all my time changing my tires...a 2000lb weight reduced CF body 240... with 350whp... I dont think I need any more than that really , Its Ferrari hunting season in the Fall...

Pics!:Valves off, Manifolds off, Most Accessories are off... Yay.

Photochop into any colours if you guys are bored!

Is that two KA24DE joined at the hip like siamese twins? That's 350whp from which car? Won't you have more with lighter body? You can't have 2000lb even with CF can you? unless you're not counting the 500lb engine there.

the VH45DE is only a 100lbs more than a KA hehe...All aluminum structure...

I am doing massive weight reduction with fiberglass, carbon fiber, and aluminum custom body parts hoping to get between 2000-2200...

On the scale my car is 2480-2490

More pics!

Injection and Intake assemblies fully off and wiring harness is off as well!

Check it out...

That throttle body consumes small children... Seen it happen - once.

Also, can anyone tell me what the big lump of hoses and crap is for on the back of my intake manifold? Ive seen a couple builds without it but it looks important!

Thanks, Ill try to keep you guys posted when it goes for milling - Until then... BACK TO THE GARAGE!

Well, Finally got a puller and got things going - Still hung up on a "stripped like nothing else" bolt on the Crank Sensor... As well as the Passenger Side Cylinder bolts are on more than 300FTLBs... I overheated my impact gun twice, and they still havent moved... Any pointers are more than welcome hehe

No Wonder This Motor Was Pulled - Build =/

Fell out when the front casing came off... Found another handful in my oil pan... YAY!

Thats all for day 3, more like an hour and a half or so but whatever!Enjoy!

Yay.

Thats all for today, pistons come out on friday and then its off to the machine shop for some boring and honing! Wheee!

ok....get this :

1- new oil pump <--check some UK/JAP fourm's to see if there is a moded oil pump to increase oil in the engine.

2- brand new water pump : againe check as above.

3- new timing chanes x2

4 - i don't know how much the stock rods/pistons can handel...so if i where you go forged.

5- new sensor's...replace ALL the sensor espciely (SP?) the knock sensor.

6- check the heads for crack's/wrap etc. replace if nesserey.

7- check valves and guid's seats etc etc....same as above.

8- valves springs-retienrs- etc etc...as above.

9- check the block for crack's...if there is repalce.

10- check / RE balanc the crank.

-------------------------------

then order some FULL gasket set and replace them ALL....

and one last thing..if you want CHEAP engine parts...ask any of your friends to go to U.A.E junk yard in al-sharriqah....there is a LOT of JDM junk car there...

Hope This Help

Ali

Should've beat them with a tire iron. It resolves all car accidents.

Guy says he has no money, only way he can afford to pay for anything is giving me his POS truck that destroyed my pride and joy S13

Im incredibly depressed, had a job that I really enjoyed that apparently I wasnt doing properly for 6 months?, On the way home from that I stopped at a crosswalk and was rear ended by a truck doing 60kmph didnt even stop.

Driveshaft rammed through my Transmission, blew everything up car was declared a write off and I dont know what Im going to do now

Hopefully things will get brighter in the future hehe.

Thanks guys,Spence
