Well, what is it for then?White Comet wrote:i looked into it before but decided i didn't need it. a b&m is good enough on its own
Yes.S133P3R wrote:is that the end of the transmission that connects to the drive shaft?
so youre saying its like viagra for your shifter?BrianHarte wrote:Oh yeah, these things.
I think they just make your shifter shaft more stiff and erect. So, it should just make everything feel more "new" and strong and whatnot.
I think.
that sounds like bushings. these springs would firm 1st-n-2nd like what 5th-n-R is.chaosli wrote:so will it fix my sloppy transmission?
let me see how to explain my transmission.... lets say my shifter wobbles in first gear like its in neutral if it dose i may want to get it
I like sweet looking HKS nuts.Warped161 wrote:it looks like it goes right here, should work fine on the ka.
thanks for the in, a few questions....do you have a KA or SR?can you install them with the trans in the car?karmakaze wrote:i have these installed on my car. i actually really like them. they come with 3 sets of springs of varying stiffness.
i have the medium stiff ones in mine, the stiffest ones are really f***ing stiff. shifts feel smother, more controlled, less play, the stock springs are a joke compared to these things. they do make a difference in how the shift feels.
i got a b&M short shifter and i think it has the bushing on it soo i dont know if its the bushing or not nowrobertcoupe wrote:

slop in a gear i dont think this would fix. this just makes it hard for full left and full right movements.
I have a spare transmission, so I was going to remove OEM spring and see, but didn't have a socket big enough for the nut.karmakaze wrote:i have these installed on my car. i actually really like them. they come with 3 sets of springs of varying stiffness.
