for those of you curious to know if the above mentioned manifold fits into the car with space you will be glad to hear it does.i just dropped my rb20 into my s14 using the r32 xmember and fitment is great.there is space for the downpipe and for the wastegate, however the wastegate comes close to some of the brake linesthe turbo outlet clears the steering shaft by an inch or so, so no worries there.i will get some pics up soon of the fitment as im sure you guys are curious to know how it fits.also i do have quite a sizable turbo on the manifold

I have on for my RB25 in an S13 using the R33 crossmember. I hope I don't run into any issues.

is it already on? did you re-drill for a t3/t4 (iirc its for a t4 flange)

let me know, id be interested if all went well, and you used your t3/t4 still

the manifold comes from hks drilled and tapped for a t3 but it can support a t4 turbo if you drill new holes.

How much did you guys pick these up for and what was the cost on them?

I would like to see someone fit a large turbo on the manifold and see if there are any clearance issues with the steering shaft or any of the brake lines.

Mine is taped for a T3. I know accel junky wasn't able to fit his S cover T04 compressor with the HKS manifold. I have a T04E cover and it should fit.

speaking of accel junky (daniel) i actualy bought my manifold from him.ive a gt30r mounted to the engine/manifold and while it is a tight fit there is clearance all around.the brake lines come very close to the wastegate, but then again i have a z32 master where as the stock s14 ones should be fine.as far as the steering shaft, the outlet comes close but there is room around it.

carl - you have an RB20 right?? i was planning on going with GT30R with that same manifold, i wasnt sure if it would clear. Are you using McKinney mounts?? Also, make sure to post somedyno numbers once you get evrything all tuned in.

cornloaf - yeah its an rb20 and yes that is a gt30r on the side of it. and no mount kit is being used with the engine, just the r32 xmember.boostfed - thats a pan of ps fluid, i think ;Pkrayton - its a gt30r on that manfiold which is slightly larger than most t3/t4's ive seen. i would imagine that the to4 b and e housings would fit fine not sure about the s.

looks like your going to have to put a bolt in that bottom stud to get the down pipe on. or cut it a lil shorter.

Good manifold, I ran the same one on my Skyline. Cept I ran a TO4 and had the flange ported. I had to take my motor mount to a bench grinder and shave off the corner to make the turbo fit. I hate bottom mount manifolds.

If anyone has one of these manifolds laying around as an extra, I really would like to run one.

I have one laying around. I haven't decided if I'm going to use it yet or not so if you'd like, you can make an offer. [email protected]

And it sucks for me because the base plate flange needed to weld to another manifold is around $60-$70. I'd rather sell this and get a 38mm Tial.

Can't you use one of the bigger TIAL wastegates?
