Why is that the first response from everyone about my new plates????

Every Ontario plate says "yours to discover". There is no other phrase to choose. Only option is to have the phrase in french.

It was just what caught my eye. Still looks good though. Can't you cover it up with tape or something? or is there law against that?

Why would I cover it up with tape? I'm not wrecking these plates, they cost me a lot. And that's what our Ontario plates say. Nothing wrong with that. It is Ontario's slogan, "yours to discover".

just sounded like you were tired of hearing about it. so whats better but the old out of sight out of mind. but if you like it then what does it matter what others say. i think it looks good personally. i just thought it was funny the way it came out. but enjoy your new plates and keep up the great mods. love seeing all you come up with. each mod makes the hk versa look more unique.

Anthony: Well I guess people assume that we pick the slogan for our plates, but we have no say in that. Only option is English or French version, lol. My frames don't cover it up, but it doesn't bother me ... it's just the first thing numerous people have said (people not from Ontario).

I have a few more things that I want to do with the car this summer. But just some small minor mods. I am not really looking to spend a lot this year. Last year I spent quite a bit, but I'd rather just continue saving for the Beetle. I have a show on June 5th near Toronto, first one for Kit of the year :)

Like the blue film. Does it make the lights look really blue or just a blue tint to them? New lower grille looks good. no pink this time? looks like edge trim on it. very nice. your versa is looking awesome as always. wish i could keep mine as clean as you keep yours.

I haven't tried the lights on yet at night, I'll let you know what they look like, maybe try to snap a pic too ...

I did black this time, looks a bit cleaner and added the trim to prevent it from scratching the paint ...

Wheels look great and love what you've done with your "mini me". I'm trying to find one for my Juke.

I got the toy on eBay almost 2 years ago, maybe even longer than that.
It's hard to find Versa's (or even Tiida's ... Which is what mine was) on eBay.

I painted it red to match kit and added in the chrome looking grille and hood deflector.

I want one a bit bigger to display at shows, but it's very hard to get a hold of one.

Yea they are hard to find. All they have now are the 2012 models with the new body style. And all are above $50. I just got a Juke toy today on ebay. Got it for a few cents over $33. It is in red so I will have to paint it like you did with yours. You might have to look for something like a radio/remote control car. Good luck with that though. Will definitely be a hard find.

The new door fabric looks great. Matches your car wonderfully.

Ya I had to wait for the company to get it back in stock, and then I was out of the country for a few weeks. I had to have an exhaust shop weld it on because the stock exhaust was not gonna work out well lol. All is good now. She's almos complete.

NICE RACK!

Did you get it straight from Rockymounts?

How is it attached?

Was that the only choice you had for a rack? Color? Different Attachments?

Bike rack is attached to the roof racks. There are two locks. One locks the bike mount to the rack and another locks the bike to the mount.

They come in various colors. I ordered red to match.

The Thule bars and feet were from Nissan. The bike mount was from rackatack. They have tons of choices and styles to choose from.

Very easy install. Not cheap to buy though. But I couldn't get a hitch because of my exhaust and I can't do the trunk mount with my spoiler.

Thanks!

I'll be removing all of it in the next week or so since I won't be using it during the winter.

Because they are not needed in the winter, can't ride my bike in the snow ... and I'm taking a few long trips in the Versa, and the bike attachment makes a high pitched whistling noise when I'm on the highway. They also don't help with mileage ... and snow/salt getting underneath them and in between the doors is not a good combination. If I needed them in the winter, I'd leave them up.

Kristen: Garm at Micro Image sells the exhaust. It has to be welded on though by a shop as our stock exhaust tip points downwards. I went to a local shop, they welded it on nicely for me :) Definitely a unique mod ... not many people have it!

I took the door panels off and put new fabric. Ive already done it twice. I got bored with the old fabric so I redid it again this past summer. It's super easy. I think I wrote up a DIY on here somewhere.
