I am not gonna install the emblem until the nicer weather arrives. I want to fully clean the car before putting it back on.
And I'm still waiting for the shark fin antenna to arrive. I haven't received an email yet that it has been shipped; and they did say to allow for a couple weeks.

V and SE-R both look good. Any idea if that SE-R bumper protector fits my V? Thinking about getting one for mine.

I ordered it from Visual Garage. It is a Canadian company (out west). Just make sure that if you have the XM satellite radio, you specify that. If you do, you will have to get the MarkII Fin (wider fin) to fit over the satellite base. :)

Clean_4th gen: I'm not sure if it would fit your sedan. I don't have a sedan to compare and his SE-R is nowhere nearby for me to measure.

The shark fin might get installed in the next few weeks. I'm still waiting for warmer temperatures.

In the last pic, that is tire shine foam.

I am envious of how clean you can keep your car :frown:
I just washed mine Saturday and gave the inside a nice cleaning (minus the rubber floor mats... new ones to come in the spring I think) and then went snowboarding lastnight and now I can't even tell that it was ever even clean :frown:

Lol ... Well during the winter months I usually don't get to wash her too often.
But I do try to keep her as clean as possible. Plus she is garage kept :D

I'm not going to lie, through the winter pretty much the only time mine gets cleaned is when it rains, and thats only because it sits outside haha.

This summer I am going to get some wheels for it (hopefully 2002 or 2003 spec v wheels), springs, and tint the windows. I think once I do that I will be more motivated to keep it clean.

Sounds like some good mods planned. Be sure to post up pics when you do that!

I just know how hard I have to work to pay for her, so I take really good care of her. I like having a shiny car to drive around :D She will be three years old in less than two weeks and she still looks pretty close to brand new !! :D

Ah yeah. It almost makes me sad sometimes when my car just sits there. Until friday, I had not driven my car in over a month. It just sat parked at our shop (work, not mechanic) and I was just driving a work truck.

One good thing about my car is the silver paint hides how dirty it really is haha.

I will for sure post pictures as I start to transform it. Maybe you will see me driving around again too lol

Happy Birthday!! The hatch looks good like with the partial debadge. The antenna is gonna look good. still too cold to put it on?

make sure you get it on straight. my base is crooked so when i tried putting mine on the first time it came out crooked. had to use 3m double sided tape to do it again. doesnt seem as good as the provided gasket.

Ya it's not warm enough to install it. I was hoping to do it today but it's chilly outside, with no sun.

I am gonna put some badging back on. I'm just sprucing it up first :)

That looks good with the badging off! How did you do it?

I just removed some vinyl off the back of mine on saturday and it was a pain to get rid of all the glue residue that was on there.

Also... posted in another thread about it but I will do it here too... how did you paint the calipers/drums? I saw you used lots of clearcoat... where did you get the paint supplies? I want to do mine in silver. Also wondering how you got the lettering for Nissan on there. I'm thinking of doing my calipers/drums in silver then black letters.

ADO: I removed the badging using dental floss, then picked the scraps off with my finger nails (and sprayed goo-gone on it to soften it up).

I actually 'blinged' up the VERSA badging, and reinstalled it. I put it a big more spaced out then the original, but it looks good. I am also 'blinging' out the NISSAN badging on the rear.

Drums and calipers are easy. I bought the "DUPLICOLOR" paint kit from Canadian Tire in red. I bought it a couple years ago, and last year I touched them up, added the NISSAN decals and sprayed clear coat. The calipers are still in perfect shape (I think because they have been done twice). The drums have chipped a bit over the winter, so I'll re-paint them when we swap the tires over.

EDIT: i was going to PM you the link to the DIY I made on the other forums, but you don't have PM's enabled. So if you PM me your email I can forward you the information. Also, here is the link to the ebay listing for the NISSAN decals I purchased. Two of the pictures on their are mine :)

I have to say, that is one awesome looking Versa.

The interior is really well done. Did you do the work yourself or have it done somewhere? Also, where did you get a chrome grill and chrome door handles?

Thanks ScottDoom!
I did all the work myself. I took the doors apart to put the new fabric in. I had seat covers madE for her. Also the chrome grille and handles are from eBay.
