If you are not at fault, there should be no effect.[/quote]Beg to differ, some companies dont care whether it was your fault or not. One of my relatives USED to have Allstate. She had four minor fender benders in three years, all were someone else hitting her. Her insurance was dropped for "too many claims over a given time period. I have had one claimed accident with my pickup, but have had two incidents of morons denting it less than a year afterwards. I discussed the possibilities of filing claims to get it fixed, but was warned by my agent that my risk level would go up because of the number of claims...It was cheaper in the long run to pay outa my pocket to get it fixed, versus the $200 increase per 6 mo. over the next whatever years.
