140 in a CTS, 140+ in a V-Series. I don't know how fast I got up to in the V as my eyes were on the road, not the speedo...

lets see...

my first ever speeding ticket was in the my 95' 240 doing 107 in a 70, cop was waiting in the median radar dectector didn't go off till i saw him. but to justify my act if anyone has ever driven on I-95 trough GA they know just about everyone speed, i in all seriousness was keeping up with traffic.

taken my moms mustang to 165 the speedo reads 150 but it was still pulling...

Fastest i have ever been was at Rockingham about 180-200 in a stock car...(they dont have speedo's)

Went 115mph in a rental Galant while visiting my grandparents. I was on some random back road actually passing houses.

Wow, lots of good stories and high speeds.

Aside from the Z I don't have all that great of info. 140ish in an SE-R, 120 in my old galant once, etc. Highest ticketed stop was 91 in a 60 in a rental minivan on vacation(didn't know soccer mom transport could go that fast)

Unclocked 92mph in a bone stock 1990 Corolla (5 Spd.) racing a 91 Accord. Accord = owned. Never been clocked luckily, and that was really one of the few times I've sped to tell you the truth. I drive granny-style to avoid the poe-poe. That kid in the Accord though, with his damn 4" Exhaust and dangling body kit, he was just askin' for it.

I got clocked at "atleast 100mph" in reality i saw 160 but his radar was off...Not even a written warning.

Fastest ive been 185mph on bikeHad my explorer up to 95.Float_6969 took his car to the fuel cut, or rev limiter. I cant remember. Needless to say that 120mph in his car is more scary than the 185mph on my bike.

I took my Ford Explorer up to 90-95 once. I had to get halfway across Washington state to do it, however. I must have been averaging 3mpg at that speed.

120 in my 240 the first day I got it on my way back home from Louisville. Played around with a red last generation Prelude on I465 around Indy, but decided not to mess with him.

135+ in a Boxter S in England, my Uncle (sort of) was driving. He was talking about how its a pretty base model car, how it doesn't have traction control. (comforting...) He also said he doesn't drive "fast" with people in the car just in case he were to wreck, and kill them, he wouldn't be able to live with himself. This was on some very curvy country roads. I didn't realize how hard I was pushing my feet up against the floorboard until I realized my butt wasn't touching the seat anymore. Meanwhile, the Opera music was playing in the background.

He used to race Mini's, and is the best damn driver I've ever met.

Fastest I've been clocked is about 100mph in a 35. Fastest I've gone on the ground is about 145mph..Fastest I've driven a car is about 140mph.

I don't tend to look at the spedometer much at those speeds. Especially on the bike.

Clocked 65 in 45 and 42 in 25, tickets for both. No DMV record. Got driving school for both, happened with a week of each other I was pissed. My Dad and I couldn't beleive it.

Top Speed: Racing a friends GS-T and speed limiter hit we were guessing 135? Whatever the limiter is on a SR Blacktop. Still on 89 speedo after third it's useless. It's a bad thing to not know how fast your going.

Just for Laughs: I evaded a police officer in a '92 Ford Taurus wagon 215,XXX miles and counting. Couldn't believe it.

Clocked at 70 in a 55 with my first 240, no ticket. Bounced the current 240 off the fuel cut.

Top speed - 132 in the Camaro, felt like I was doing 90 in the absence of any traffic.

Yeah, It seems like everything above 100's the same, or maybe when there's just nothing around you? However, I've gone 90 on our main street (very small town if any one knows Gas City) at 4 in the morning, and it felt effing fast.

If you think everything over 100 is the same, try doing it on a bike

No thanks, bike's scare the hell out of me... I probably would though, because I'm stupid like that. Just like not driving fast after I wrecked my car, easier said than done.

It's more scary being the passenger of a car running 120+ than it is to pilot a bike at 180+ 100 on a bike is what you run when you casually pass someone without downshifting *insert yawning smiley here*

Although you probably meant it as a joke, it is the truth when you're riding alot of the newer crotch rockets. Mine always felt real heavy and hard to hand at anything under about 60. At 100 it felt at home. Its probably better that most people one here don't ride though. I've almost been hit too many times.
