I just bought a 94 altima with 203,000 miles. Runs perfect. Pulled the valve cover off to replace the gasket and the internals look PERFECT and CLEAN. (I couldn't believe it)

I had a 97 altima that my older bro bought at 50,000 miles and drove to 130,000. He had to fix an oil leak. I drove it from 130,000 to 170,000 with no problems at all. Ran perfect.

Bought my 95sx 3 years ago with 124k on it. I have since turbo'd it out and its still running strong at 204k. Emissions need fixing, my EGR is bad, Ive just been lazy about replacing it, so it hesitates just a little bit, but still nice and fast.

When I bought it, I got it off some old man who used it to go to and from work. Had mostly all highway miles on it. It was dirty as s*** though! His valve cover gasket needed replacing and got the motor all dirty. So, I bought it, replaced the valve cover gasket and degrease the s*** out of it. Now its all shiny and clean.

Love my 240

I've got 214k on my 93 but it burns oil.

Nzmoman had a 91 with around 312k before he swapped in an SR. I think it was still running good.

Mine burnt oil too for a bit till I replaced the valve stem seals and rings. Now its smoke free. Also did a seafoam treatment on it and its lookin and running generally well. Try replacing your seals and rings and maybe it will stop your oil burning?

On a scale of 1 to 10 how difficult would you say replacing seals and rings would be? I've done a fair amount of work on my car but never anything that required taking the head apart. I think it is the rings I just don't want to get in so too much over my head.

Maybe a 4. Just make sure that specific cylinder is at tdc or you'll be pulling the head. Also the retainers like to fly away, be very careful. They are order only parts. I think it was .49 cents a Half and took 3 days.
259k.. was on the bottle for a while. 20" wheels and a 125 shot, a good solid 10 refills of a 10lb bottle. Still runs decent and is dd, but it uses some oil now. KA-T is coming very soon. 20's For sale soon as well.

my dad's 91 Stanza. 400,000mi+ but i dont know how much exactly cause the odometer broke at about 380k and he continued to drive it just as usual for several more years. I think the only major things he had to replace were a couple fuel injectors and the water pump, aside from regular stuff that craps out like belts and hoses and such .

316,000 1993 ka24de. I have driven the car since 1993 when I purchased it as a demo with 5,000 miles. No major problems in the 17 years I have had the car other transmission bearing on counter shaft blew out which I replaced about 4 years ago.

I got my car the year before a graduated from college, then I had a company car for 3 1/2 years so my mileage was low for the first few years. I pretty much babied the car with frequent oil changes, low usage, always waxed it, etc. But since 2008 it has been a daily diver and has been great. Never even replaced spark plug wires. Only two problems were the bearing on the counter shaft in the transmission went out and the annual emission test in Texas. I fixed the bearing problem myself about 6 years ago. Emissions is an on-going battle.
