Yeah, and the load of those led's is HUGE!

Someone offers a solution to a problem and others don't like it because they have NOTHING to offer. Look how long this thread went unanswered. Some disagree to just disagree.

According to the FSM for a 94 Q on page EL-244, the headlamp relays are in the engine bay at E12 and E13 next to the relay box. Then franknitty said they are located next to the ignition relay to the right of the combination flasher unit at M22 and M23 on page EL-246.

Where should I be looking, and what would be the procedure?

Thanks.
None of you offered advice after this post until I post a solution. Then I get thrashed.

Your solution sucks.....about as stupid as replacing the incandescent light bulb in your refrigerator with a compact fluorescent bulb and then propping the door open, pulling up a chair, and using the light to read a book!!!!

Those who can, do.Those who can't do this.zer...45560

Nice thread though. Listen, we know you really don't wrench. That's ok. Not everyone can DIY. Please try to keep it mature. No hard feelings.

My solution works fine and dandy for me. My light is off. I'm sure others will do this with great results.

But the guy is thinking and trying new things and not risking anyones life or his (I think). So more power to him.

Because even on a 14+ year old car we can never learn EVERTHING there is to know about it.
