I guess that's an OK time frame. I still have one of the original bulbs to this date. But for some reason the replacement bulb only lasted like 3 months.

If it blew in 3 months, I'm pretty sure either you, or someone else touched the bulb. There's no way/reason a bulb would go that fast. Even the cheapest brands will usually last longer than that. The oils from your fingers will get on the bulb and when they heat up, they blow prematurely.

ahh man i was really considering doing it.. i drove my sister's car with HID from the factory and wooahhh what a difference it made. do u recommend any other types of HID kits? i dont wanna get any garbage thats gonna give me a hard time

I also got the XLights from mcmotoring on ebay; surprisingly, won the bid last week thursday evening ($35.01 + $45 shipping), and got my kit this past saturday (ridiculously fast shipping to Hawaii).

Installed them tuesday evening, logged on to leave him feedback and he was no longer a registered user. I think he finally got caught selling these kits for under jobber pricing (if I remember correctly, price on these kits were $125).
