I got the relay kit from HID distributor from Canada. It is easy to install if you have installed your HID on your own. its like plug and play, bulbs and battery.

iM0jE wrote:i did not lower my bulbs. I just plug them in. If you want to lower your bulbs, take your car to dealer before you install HID. You can do it on your own but its very tricky to make them perfectly equal. I did not have to lower it since its not that high to make other drivers blind. Let me know if you decide to do it on your own, i will tell you how to.
oh okay, i was just making sure if i had to lower it or not. My McCulloch HID Kit just came in yesterday morning. imma install them this afternoon! wish me luck!

Here's a link to a site that explains the temperature ratings.http://www.intellexual.net/hid.htmlNote that BMW and Audi use 4100k, NOT 6000, and definitely not 8000. The choice depends on whether you want to see, or be seen and be "kewl". Since the HIDs are factory installed on the Nissans, it's hard to see how they could be made illegal- unless the laws just apply to the 8000k ones.

after you were finish with your HIDs, does your headlights and hood seal match eachother? i just got done today and it seems like the headlights is off by 2-3mm with the hood seal... im kinda upset because the driver side headlight, you could not pull all the way out so i kinda scratched the lens against the fender and i lost one of the plastic screw buttoms in the engine bay

Sorry to hear that. Mine matched ok. I had a problem to fitting the driver's headlight at first attempt. After several attempts, its perfectly match. Where did you placed the ballst on driver side? same as mine?

You can goto dealer to purchase the plastic screw. It's less than a dollar, so they usually give you out one for free.

Where did you get your license plate lights from? I bought some from ebay and they were not bright at all and burned out within a few weeks, I need some good quality and really bright lights.

I saw your post a few days ago... I see you had a big ballast... I have a HID Kit coming from a local shop near me who claims its a Thin Ballast Kit... They charged me $189 for the kit... Its really small...

Here is a link to what I should be gettinghttp://www.promotiontuning.com...Code=

What you think? I am in VA too and I ordered 6000K with Slight Purple tint...

I am not sure because I never used or seen this before. It looks good and good price, too! Thinner ballast may little easier for you to locate the ballasts, not sure its liability tho. Double check if they offer any warranty on this kit.It seems like they offer two different colors on 6000k, which is kinda weird. Most of 6000k is white. When the temperature up, the color turn to blue, then purple.
