Haha it's just the fender that is damaged, my bad. The shock traveled so far to my head I couldn't think of the right parts haha.

i actually have shelters insurance, switching to geico once my tickets get cleared up and gone. and you can fix completely everything on your front end. now you have a major excuse for silvia s13 or s15 front. maybe even 180sx type -x?!

My bumper is fine though.

Bad news is, the Insurance company is going to total my car most likely. Good news is, the value is around 5k. I'll be able to fix it with that money.

I think it'd be best to just change the front end, as in do a swap. It'll be cheaper than trying to repair your car and if there's anything sell able, you can sell it and gain more profit.

Good news. The insurance company is going to give me like $4,500 for the car. So I'll be able to fix it no problem. And my neighbor who works at the body shop said he will do the job on the side for me, which will save me a load of money. I found a few people selling hoods and headlight assemblies for pretty cheap, so I'd just need to find a radiator support and passenger side fender. Of course there could be more wrong with it after we finally open the hood, but it seems to look ok so far.

In the mean time. I'm thinking of changing all my dashboard lights and etc. for the greenish color to red. Thoughts?

I think you should fix the damn car first. I wouldn't put any money into it at all. You may be in for a surprise when you pop the hood or hell, maybe next week you'll wreck it again. This is why i cant find any 240's in nice condition. One week goes from pristine to salvage. Poor S13.

But I agree with him on the notion that you shouldn't put money into the car besides getting it fixed first. Are the insurance company giving you 4.5k for the car, or 4.5 with the car? There's a difference.
But if I were you I'd focus on
1) getting it fixed, with as little bondo as possible.
2) upgrading the tires ( as in getting new, non POS tires) and brakes
3) Removing that damn foam spoiler
4) getting new suspesnion ( along with bushings and everything.
5)?????????
7) profit.
6) drive slower.

Changing the lights is only going to cost me a round like $15 though.

They are giving me $4500 WITH the car. I found a good hood, radiator support, and the headlight pods with the motors for like $140 total (for everything). I just need a new fender and some minor things. I will probably get new tires. My brakes are fine. I don't really see a need to get new suspension tbh.

It's Hype y0! <- I've been wanting to use that forever.

It's normally the course of action that 240sx owners tend to do.

well since you aren't interested what do you plan on using the car for?

I just pulled a link from the first site I found, research local or good websites, but this fixes every problem on ur car, and leaves u only needing wheels and coils...possibly only rear if it comes with some up front (who knows could happen)

http://jdm-ottawa.com/products/JDM-Niss ... Clip-.html

Very Cheap compared to fixing car and u get
RHD
SR
5SPD
SILVIA

My .02c

I don't really have any plans to modify my car really. Besides changing the dashboard lights, I was thinking of adding headers. Otherwise I think the car is fine. Of course if my engine just magically died, I'd probably drop and LT1 in. But that also requires a lot of other work to be done to the car.
