Honestly? I hope you didn't pay anything over $1000. It looks like it got rolled over a hill and beat to all hell. It'll take a decent amount of cash to get it road worthy and a lot of long nights to get all the dents out if you don't buy any replacement panels.

Ayuh... it's damaged alright!

Nothing a good coat of wax won't fix...

This is more of a "parts car..." You'll get a few grand from the engine, trans, and I'm sure the electronics are salvageable.

Lol, good luck with that. You've probably got frame damage as well, not to mention the other 50 things we can see from the pictures. BTW, $1400 was way too much.

This must be some sort of joke because I'm certainly laughing 1400 damn, you got robbed! You shouldn't have bought that unless you planed on using it for parts and even so way too much $$.

That seems like a lot of money for a car that will need A TON of repairs. Personally it seems like a waste of money to re-fix that. Any particular reason for buying it in the first place?

That is a basic S model too. They only start at roughly $14000 CDN now (here in Ontario at least). With all the money you are going to spend on it, you probably could have purchased a new one. That's just my opinion.

If you work/own for a body shop or have body shop connections. That's a good price considering body shops get pretty damn good deals on parts.

Then labor is pretty much free or CHEAP.

Otherwise, yes you may as well part that car out.

Convertible hardtop? You have lots of bodywork to do so you might as well

If you take your time in repairing this car then trust me you can make it a beast, and if you have like good contact in a body shop and parts shop then it's not a bad deal, just make a time table and your good to go, here in Dubai people buy cars in much worse shape and work on it with not so expensive parts so good luck.

Ill try to look for local website where they have such car projects going on and will let you know.

Ok, does the engine work fine?

If you're going to fix that up I would definitely use aftermarket parts. Get a price quote from various bodyshops, compare and hunt them down!

- Start from the outside, get all the dents, scratches removed repainted. - Get carbon fiber hood, trunk- Can't fix the top, get a carbon fiber rooftop or convertible- New rims

Bring it to pimp my ride, they could give you a bit of tips!

OK guy, thank you for all comment...i'll fix it because i got time and space and i work all frame, welding, menchanic, painting myself, so this project is not that hard to me...let talk about the versa. i'm very lucky to find the roof panel with the sunroof assembly for $500 from connecticut junk yard. they come with everything i need(roof, sunroof, headliner and some hardware). day 1, i took out the windshield and start drill all the spot weld for the roof panel.

If you can get this thing like brand new then that would be awesome. He should get a title or maybe become a mod on the versa forums.

I will love you if you are able to successfully make that V into a hardtop or even soft top convertible! That would be awesome!

Good luck on your project!I don't think $1400 is that much to spend on a car where you can do most of the work yourself. :D

hi guys, i put the roof on today, it looks good on the right front corner and rear, the whole left side is perfect. but..........the center pillar bend too much! i think better change another pillar, so i call back to the junk yard where i bought the roof. And they still have the pillar from the same car, they give me a good price for $100. so i going to pick it up tomorrow and see how it goes.

I give you the honor of my respect for putting so much effort into a car like that. I would never do anything similar to that with the time and effort on my part. Congrats, and hope it turns out outstanding in the end!
