Mazdaspeed 3 only did 0-60 in 5.8-6.1 and 1/4 in 14.4+. At appx 24k it's competative in price with the base 350z (about 4k less) but is sub-par to it from a performance perspective. Of course, with the base and 4k for upgardes it should beat it at the same price.

I do agree that it has ricer-boi looks.

just so you know, my iPhone is named Leila. Lola and Leila, what a hot couple.
I think the iPhone is Super innovative, but they took too long to develop it (read about it in Wired Magazine). Even though they got it out "on time" it could have been worlds better if they would have kept the design on schedule.

My boss has an iPhone and she has a blank area in the touch screen, so she can't text or dial out. They've offered her a replacement, but she has to drive 40ish miles to the nearest Apple store to swap it out.

I think the biggest problem with the iPhone is Apple!!! lol. Despite being able to hack the phone up, had the platform been open for development, I'd probably have considered it.

I still think it's funny that only Sprint has a network capable of keeping up with the iPhone, but it's stuck on the cute GSM network.

The wife and I have HTC Moguls. I'm getting 750kb/s is a small city/suburban area.

I use a mogul too... except for too little memory, it's a pretty ideal phone.

However, the very best phone out is the HTC tilt.. It's just too bad most of AT&T's customers don't realize how awesome it is.

I'd NEVER take an Iphone over a windows mobile phone...

I can't wait for the HTC touch pro to come out this fall... 512 mb program memory, 288 mb system memory (4.5 times more than the mogul has), VGA resolution and a 3.2 megapixel camera (hopefully it has better shutter response than my mogul.. I CAN NOT take a good pic with the mogul).

I agree regarding the system memory. Kind of sad that just running it requires 50%+.

I wanted the Touch, but when I saw that it didn't have a keyboard and it was $100 more, I couldn't justify it.

The Mogul is adequate for us right now. More memory and a better camera would be great though. Getting higher speed data and paying less makes Sprint FTW!!!

HTC makes good phones. im still not sold on windows mobile though. I can't believe how easy it is to work the iPhone. the manual that came with it is literally 2 pages long and aptly called Finger Tips. How awesome is that. I love this phone and cant wait to add some apps. They really did a good job with it.

I've been with them for 8 years now. Only had a handful of issues. Most of them minor.

Their call quality and price are usually much better than the competition. ATT and Cingular are eh. My mom uses both Sprint and ATT, she only bought the ATT phone because they had an insane deal on huge mins (3000+), now she's considering canceling them.

Cingular was notorious for billing errors. They never really argued with you, but you had to constantly check your bill.

It's true that GSM works in more contries than CDMA, but I can take my phone to quite a few other countries. Mexico being one of them (which is more important than Europe as I never go to Europe).

Sprint will also rush ship you a temporary phone if you're going to a GSM country.

My last peeve with GSM is how speakers like picking up the GSM interference. If the phone would keep the same signal for more than 2 seconds, you wouldn't have that problem lol.

Windows mobile is glitchy and overcomplicated, but it's also SOOOO much more capable than the Iphone or any of the other iphone knockoffs (samsung instinct, glyde, LG voyager, etc)

The biggest reason I'd never use an iphone is just what sentient said.. closed source coding prevents aftermarket customization.

I can make my WM phone look and do most everything an iphone can do, but I can't make an Iphone do nearly as much as I can do with windows mobile...

Don't get me wrong, I'd love an iphone...just not for $200 more than a more capable WM device. If the price was reversed for the iphone and tilt, it'd be a tough decision.

Sprint is also notorious for billing problems.. I actually just switched to sprint from cricket about 4 months ago (I've been using a mogul on cricket since the first month the mogul was release, however.. and used a PPC6700 on cricket before that)...

I'm already debating leaving... The everything plan is great, but even with unlimited everything, they've STILL screwed my bill up twice.. I'm also still waiting on a rebate that I was told would take less than 2 months to process.

With cricket, I had unlimited phone, pic/video messaging (another gripe about sprint.. thank god for SMMS), data, and roaming on all cricket networks for $50/mo... for $15/mo I could buy 270 min of roaming on verizon and sprint... but I couldn't insure a non-cricket handset, and cricket's internet is proxied, so I didn't have pop3/imap email access... I'm debating whether the extra $40/mo is worth it for insurance and email...

I'd love to go to verizon, but I'm not dropping $150+ on a phone bill, and I need unlimited everything... I use 5k min/mo, 4-5k text messages, and 2-3 GB of data per month..

I have a Blackberry 8700 that works well with the Bluetooth in my G. (AT&T)

In other vehicle news, I just read that Hummer dealers are $issed off because GM may sell the brand to Tata motors. They'll probabily ship them back to us when they redesign them to get 30MPG?

One of the perks we were promised when dividing the G forums up. We can go off topic now!!! lol

I've had 3 billing issues with Sprint since I switched plans 2 or 3 months ago. They made up for it this past month by waiving all of my calling plan price $70ish.

They've waived all of the other crap that didn't belong there either and when I switched, I got them to drop 15% off of my plan, $20 off of my text messages AND they gave me $200 instant rebates on both Moguls WITH NO extended contract!!!

Tell me one of the other providers is better than that!

if you told them that you were going to switch to att or verizon, they may have blown you too. sorry, i have no sympathy for sprint. they killed their company with horrendous customer service and disgusting phones. they need to die.
