or if you have a better car in the 20,000-25,000 please let me know
Good suggestion!!!precision93 wrote:If you have to get rid of the G then get a 6.0 GTO. 400hp stock, and the same gas mileage as the GT.
It was a toss up before I bought the G35. G35 gas mileage is worse than advertised. If I had known that, I would be driving a GTO right now with 400hp instead of 280hp.
And the GTO price is already in the very low 20k range.
I think I'm telling him to NOT get rid of the G.....grantman240z wrote:Don't get rid of the G.

04s and 05s are different cars, different bodys. 6MTs are not available in the GT, you'll have to settle for one less gear with a 5MT.ryan_g35 wrote:yea i was thinking of maybe finding a 05 or 04 with the 6mt but idk yet so we will see , we just want to get out of the ridculous payments so w/e happens i guess

You've got MANY years ahead of you to get another car... save your money now for college and/or life savings, cause life is going to throw you some curve balls in the next few years that will make you wish you had tucked some money away. Hey, you could get a part time job and contribute to the car payment!ryan_g35 wrote:well the thing were trying to do get the payments down, and our payments right now are like 7 something, but we can't refinace it because we still have a house in florida which is hurting my dad credit so if i find something a little cheaper then 42000 dollars i can get lower payments , get it now?
I think he wants something that he doesn't have to have towed home very often.gwoods wrote:Best hp - $ ratio is a Hemi RAM!
Should be able to pick up a 05 for much less then $17k
With minor mods can be faster then a G
Take that Mustangs
The factory parts will handle up to 330 RWHP... after that you'll be fine up to 370 rwhp if you don't do demand downshifts into 2nd gear. Basically if you want to down shift move the shift lever on the column.rn79870 wrote:
