I love that magazine. I only have their first issue when they lead u through how to swap in a SR20 into a 240sx but its good info to have around the garage when the time comes.

I may pick this article up or go to borders and read it.

ONE Magazine that is awesome is Tuner, I picked up one of theirs that had this pretty large Turbo shoot out write up about the Stock t25 t28(s15) and the Gt2871R. Good article.

Good Stuff.

Ghasty

Not new, but it recieves far less coverage, so the likelyhood of seeing something innovative is higher.

Yeah i'll deff have to look for this, although i was severely dissapointed with all the pictures and explainations on how to put an intake on, its not hard and they even come with instructions, also coilovers aren't hard to but on either, and the drift button don't get me started, well on the bright side they made it so easy that almost any idiot will be out on th streets playin tokyo drift.

^ besides being completely racist and stereotypical that wasn't funny at all especially since I'm asian

My question is, is there anyway to get this magazine after they publish it, like order it online or something. Because you probably won't find it in stores a couple months after its published.

Its a good magazine that i have been following for day one. Ever since they had a write up on dropping an sr into an s13 i've been hooked. They featured a couple more 240's since then.

That car belongs to my close buddy Doobie...

cool guy that has a very good idea on how modified cars should look like.

He also has a yellow s2k with some cr-kais and a spoon lip...

and previously had a sickkk asss kouki styled s13... it had kouki aero + lights, some volks, z/r brakes, paint, s14 sr... the works. He sold it like a year or two ago..

I see a bright future for his next s13.

BTW, every upgrade posted in the magazine is PAID FOR by Project Car. So that means he doesn't pay a cent for anything that gets tossed on the car. Must be nice, lol.

Why are people being so f**king rude? If you don't read/like/buy magazines/media/anything, leave this thread alone. I don't care if you used to like magazines and don't now. Seriously, that doesn't effect anybody but YOU. and YOU are the one that bought them, not us.

Those that do like magazines, this is the best around. The budgets really aren't as high as someone mentioned, they are most obtainable. I really can't believe someone said that actually.

As for posting the article...what kind of support it that exactly? I suppose it generates interest, but I've seen this magazine literally all over the place. I guarantee everyone could prob find one. Or get them from primediabackissues.com

THERE ARE NO SUBSCRIPTIONS YET.

And it comes out bi-monthly. No random releases or anything. Hit up Boarders, Jewel/osco, walgreens etc.

re-reading this i feel like I'm coming off strange/hostile. Lets see what the response is...

im totally for people giving their opinion but i also think you should THINK about what you type first..then reread it lolhopefully this will result in some more intelligent posts

Anyone got a copy of their first issue scanned in and zipped up? Mine has fallen apart and primedia does not have any more #1 backissues.

Oh if you look at the barcode there is a display till date, the new issue usually comes out the week after that date. Number 11 won't be out till around 4/14/09 =(

I've been following this mag since the first issue and it's actually a very informative read. Granted, there isn't anything in it that you couldn't find someplace online, but sometimes it's good to have it in book form so that you can have it in your garage and don't have to print it out or take you computer into the garage with you. They are very descriptive and complete in the information and tell you what problems you will come across with the various installs they have done. They have a lot more than just your average civics and 240s in the mag to. If you look through the different issues, you'll see cars from european and american manufacturers too. They are pretty non-descriminitory. And no they don't do subscriptions yet, but as soon as they do, I will probably get one because this is one of the few magazines that actually has cars and only cars and car tech in it and I respect that a lot.

I found it! Walgreens had at least 5 issues. I had to google Walgreens to see if my city had one and indeed we have several.

It's a great mag. Wish I had this before I did my 5 speed swap. I removed the dowel in the end of the crankshaft the hard way with a drill and hammer. Never thought of using a pipe wrench. DOH!!!

Sometimes it's just nice to read words on paper and not on a computer monitor.
