length is the least of your worries when your putting a RWD drivetrain in a FWD car and trying to have it remain somewhat of a car.

The Focus has a special trait that many FWD cars don't. In europe they come 4WD. That means a tunnel exists and rear diffs are available. That is why the V8 swap kit works so well. http://www.ford-v8-focus.com/i....html

240sx actually HAS more rights to have any motor in them than gay ugly looking Focus. For one its the same make. 2nd not alot of work is required like the focus needed with the rb26 swap. 3rd import motor in a domestic car?? LOL they claim they have the best ****. ***** please....

Here's another point to think about, you purists...

A Nissan motor has been available in a Ford chassis before. STOCK. It was the VG30E and they used it for some of their vans and trucks in the 80's. Suck it.
