mad, i was just looking at some of your old threads and never knew you had a apexi cast mani at one time dood! i gots one too

but what is the biggest turbo it can fit w/o cramming into the VC's? cause i bolted it up to the motor today, and was worrying about clearance.. but the flange does angle a bit which throws it out a bit.. im not worried about the exhaust housing but like compressor housing, whats the biggest? also was yours coated with anything, cause it was afully clean and shiny..

I think Ford is abolutely stupid for not selling the euro spec Focus in the states. The big three deserve to shrivel up and die, they seem dead set on a policy of failure.

i TOTALLY agree

the REAL focus is actually a pretty cool car. not this watered down BS version we got

kinda reminds me of the 240sx.

I had that big 60-1 on there with no clearance issue on the valve covers. Now the strut tower on the other hand, for an R32 at least bring a hammer!

Well you saw the size of the screw I had, they don't come much bigger as far as circumference.

here how bout i get a pic in here and you compare them, cause i have never had hands on either, and i cant really justify pics that great, but im sure you can at least tell which is bigger..

give me a minute to get pics..

btw, sorry to clutter up your thread but its too late now to create another thread about it, that would be pointless..

oh and also, it is internally gated, but i am welding the flap shut and removing the actuator.. turbo will have to be clocked also.

to tell you the truth, i personally thing it will be ok. after looking at it.. and if not, hey ill just rebuild it and make a profit..

where do they grow you people?I am involved in a thread in the Versa forum on recurring gas cap failure and glitchy tire pressure monitoring systems and my skyline's sunroof never worked right, where do you get this impression of Nissan's infallability? Why don't you go to the fast ford night at your local strip and show them how bad your Nissan is. Let us know how it turns out.

I think the Focus would be an absolute blast to drive.

I love the idea of crossing manufacturers. Here is another example of an 'interesting' Focus - ATi's "Terminator" Focus. http://www.sportcompactcarweb.....html

the focus was never intended for the us market. it was a hit in eu so they decided to release a ****ty of verion of it here in states. stupid move for ford.

but damn the swap is madness, it will rip every one on the track i bet with the awd settup pairing w/ the rb26. much respect.
