What's the approx. distance between L.A. and Vegas? I'm thinking about taking a cross-country trip during my next spring break with a friend in the (about a month after I get my 240) and am thinking about coming back through vegas.

Damn Nils, I didn't know you had a 240 too. :) This is Jeff the admin from Supraforums. Great looking engine! Can't wait to get my SR20 project going in January. Good luck on the swap, let us know how it turns out!

madness...the world is coming to madness I tell you. Actually I think we supra guys realize how great of a car the 240 is ;) I'm not sure, but I think the honda guys follow anything that is printed in a magazine.

lol...and they cant afford supras : )hey btw...if i could, i'd ditch the 240 for the supra...i guess the cost value comes into factor, but IMO its almost strange to see supra guys coming over...i'd take a 95 supra tt over a 95 240 w/ sr20det any day, but thats just me i guess.

I hear you on the cost issue....that's one of the main factors that made me want to sell the supra. It's taking too much money from my pocket book. haha....wanna buy my supra? It's the only thing holding me up from the SR project.

If I was into drag racing or street racing I would dump even more money into my Supra, but, the 240 is an excellent road racing car for the money.

minor update....

I cant wait to get started.

Already got all the parts necessary for the swap and then some:=== Blitz DP=== HKS Intake Adapter=== Greddy Profec B=== Blitz LM fmic=== Greddy Boost 60mm peak hold=== Greddy EGT 60mm peak hold=== gauge Mounts=== Blitz Nur-Spec=== Blitz Oil cooler (2 week wait for Oil Cooler)=== Blitz Single Plate Active Clutch=== Greddy GREX Oil Pan=== Greddy Type S BoV=== Road Race Eng. BoV Flange=== Whiteline Front Sway Bar=== Whiteline adjustable Rear Sway Bar=== Whiteline Bushings:=== TC Rod Bushings=== Rear Upper Control Arm Bushings - 2 sets=== Front Lower Control Arm Bushings=== Koyo Aluminum Radiator=== Walbro Highpressure 255L pump=== Harness for swap=== sr20det ECU=== Ignition Transistor for a 96' infinity Q45

I am also thinking about getting an oil catch tank. But other than that I only need small miscellaneous stuff like air filter (K&N), heat resistant wrap, bolts, hosing etc.

Once I get back from vacation we will swap the engine and put on all the other goodies. After we get the car running I will get interior safety equipment like Cusco chromoly rollcage, Sparco EVO seat, new Harness etc.. so I wont kill myself at the track =)

minor plug....I ordered parts from Heavy Throttle and PDM racing and they both offered great customer service and shipped everything promptly. The majority of parts I got from Ivan at SP Engineering, SP Eng. just carries so much hard to find stuff in stock and they give me great prices....

I will be documenting all work on the 240 with photos and text. Parts reviews, Lots of tech articles and also wiring diagrams for engine swaps. Everything will be posted on my site: 240racing.com

Have a happy holiday... I know I will =)

take care,nils
