Is it me, or is there an slightly disconcerting feeling of accepting support from Kermit the Frog and a guy nicknamed 'moneypit'? .... Creepy. :chuckle:

I feel u.I have 4 kids, 3 girls and a boy.I have been building my s-13 for 6 years now. It's also my daily driver.Had to bye it from a junk yard and rebuild the front end before i could drive it.Took 1 and a half years to do that.Saved money for a year and than painted it.I also had to add a room for my girls. They are growing up fast. I always say family first.I love my car and will never get rid of it.Maybe u can get some used tires. At least u can drive it than.Life is a bunch of ups and downs. At least your doing the right thing and that will make you feel good.I would do almost anything for my kids.Life changing they are.Made me grow up in a hurry.Good luck

Well, see here's the thing ... I have drag radials on the back and they are completely down to the braiding in some spots. So I really don't want to chance a blowout and then screw up the rims. I never buy used tires and I'm intent on getting new drag radials; so I'll have to have the patience until then.

Here's more suck ... Yesterday I went to the building department to submit for permitting. As I was leaving (in the Suburban), the driver's side front wheel bearing took a poo. I knew it was going for quite some time now, but figured I'll drive it until it goes ... and it went. Now I gotta get the whole hub assembly which is about $180. Crapsnot. On top of that, until this weekend I'm stuck driving my fiance's '03 Focus with the 'wild cherry' license plate frame, steering wheel cover and matching floormats.

On a good note, I charged the battery in the 240 last night and she fired right up. If it hadn't been raining, I was gonna take her out in the neighborhood. Eh, maybe tonight ... Damn, I'm itchy!! :woot:
