My friend owns an RX-8, and i don't care for it. Gas mileage is not as good as on my Altima sedan, and there is no torque in the engine. You have to get the RPM way up before anything happens in that car. In normal daily driving, it feels pretty weak. Once you get on the throttle, its pretty good, but still not as fast as my Altima. We haven't raced, but dinking around on the highway, i can walk away from him. The car handles and drives great, but not enough jump.

I'm also soured at the RX8 due to the bull**** when they released that car and greatly overstated the HP. I can't stand **** like that.
