So here it is. I am picking up my S15 front clip this friday.and am planning to swap it into my 95 S14 the weekend after. I've done my research and calling around and stuff and this is what i have came up with. the engine fits no problem. the transmission mounts need to be moded a bit.. ( have not figured out where ) so if anyone knows anything the help would be appraiciated.the clip comes with the drive shaft. and since i am going to keep my S14 rear and diff ( i don't have the S15 diff) i'll use the S15 transmission coupling and and the S14 diff coupling and mate them to a costum drive shaft ( there is a shop close by here that makes costum drive shafts) does any one think that is a bad idea? I know i am not gonna have a speed sensor but apprently i don't care.( i'll set up an after market speedo) i am not worried about the wiring that much i have a complete harness and also i know a guy who is very good with wiring..anyways give me your inputs and also i am gonna be taken some pictures and hopefully be able to do a HOW TO for everyone. aj

What's wrong with the S14 SR20? Anyway, You make it sound easy... all the people who have attempted it said it was a major pain in the arse... well be "SURE" to do a write up and good luck!!

nothing wrong with the s14 sr20det. except i found this one for a realllly sweeeet deal ( 3300 out the door). mainly cuz noone want to deal with the hassle of no diff. yeah i do make it sound easy , and i hope it is that easy. the main reason why lots of ppl want the s15 diff is cuz of the speed sensor and also cuz the s15 drive shaft wont match the s14 diff. and the s14 drive shaft wont fit the s15 transmission. so the solution is costum drive shaft with the s15 transmission coupling and the s14 diff coupling. the only thing i have nto figured out is the relocation of the transmission mount.

are you doing an S15 front end conversion? If not does it bolt up to an S13 at all with slight mods? And would u let go of the bumper fenders and hood also the head lights if you are not gonna do the conversion and it can be bolted up to an s13?

I dont think ABS is connected to the ECU, so it just shares the wire loom with the engine harness. So cut the loom, take it out and make it a seperate harness.

as i said earlier , to hell with the speed sensor ...lol... my plan is to go with an after market speedo, one that i wont have to hook up to the diff. either that or i am gonna jack a cop for his radar gun and get my speed that way ..j/k

i just remembered. kinda crazy and wierd i think... this would be the 4th sr engine i'd own. when i was in japan i bought a s13 red top and a s13 balck top. never got the chance the install either one then i bought a s14 black top again i never got a chance to install that cuz b4 i had a chance my car was rear ended and totalled, and now the s15 black top. well i hope 4th time is the charm and i get to finish this one.. crazy aint it i've own every generation of the SR

I know someone asked you earlier if you had the bumper, fenders, and hood and you said that your clip did not come with them, but I just wanted to double-check with you...I'm looking for the bumper support and bumper reinforcement pieces, shaded in red in the picture here:http://img.photobucket.com/alb...1.jpgIf you have them, please let me know, as I am seriouly interested in finding these two components. If you don't have them, my apologies for cluttering up your post. Thanks.
