I own a white 2008 Altima coupe. I'm limited to 18" rims, and about a $800 price range for them. I need help making my vehicle look nice.

You can find a lot of good rims for $800 or less. But you're going to need buy new tires, and it will set you back quite a bit more.

Check out this site; they usually have good deals on wheel/tire combos. http://www.wheelsnext.com/wheels-tires-packages.html

Make sure that you get the 5x114.3 lug pattern.

Other things you'll come across are offset, which determines where the mounting bracket is - in millimeters from the center of the wheel. The width of the wheel will determine what kind of tire you need. Also the center bore may not be the same size as the part you mount it on. To avoid vibration, I'd recommend getting hub rings.

I bought 350z 35th anniversary rims for $500 with fairly used tires. The next $300 is going into powder coating the rims. Just gotta keep your eyes peeled.

Adam, welcome to NICO! :bigthumb:

Picking out a set of wheels for your Altima is no easy task! There are too many styles to count. I would suggest browsing some wheel websites and getting some input from us here if you need help on fitment etc.

We have a great thread showing all sorts of wheels on Altima Coupes...

$800 is a tight budget for wheels and tires. Take a look through our classifieds as well, maybe you can find something.

Good luck!

Yeah, about $800 or $900 for the rims alone. I want some with the BBS, spokey "racing" look. But I'm afraid it won't look good with an 18" rim.

Konig has something like those, I have the blue. Mine were @150 each. I love them, they get heads turning weather I sitting still or moving.

I'm a total noob to all of these things, but is headlight/taillight tinting legal? Also, is it common to shoot clear over your tint? I'm worried about bugs and chips.

As far as I know, headlight/taillight tinting is illegal. With that said, you probably won't get pulled over for tinting your taillights as long as you can still see your brake lights well. Don't know about headlights though..
If you tint with vinyl, you don't need to clear. If you spray, do clear over it.

yea..only color that matches the chrome delete on the grille. I know people don't like chrome but jeez black doesn't work on EVERY color.

Idk about that, I think it looks pretty good on black and white.

Maybe it's a taste thing, I guess. The C-Mod looks good on white coupes that I noticed but the chrome delete on everything is just.. take a look at Alex's car or mine, rocking the chrome like a boss lol
