ive had the tein basics for almost 2 years and i still love them. im not really going to ever mess with dampening, but ride height is pretty important. overall, for the price, id get the teins. everyone will tell you bad stories about every brand, so let the flaming begin.

Out of those, I would pick megan, because I have heard nothing bad about them. I however, went with kts instead of megan, which you should also look into.

Do the Tein's come with front and rear Pillow Ball upper mounts for camber correction or do you have to buy them separately?

The Megan ones seem to include much more such as camber adjustment and look like they are much easier to tune plus have a 1 year warranty but Tein is known for quality and their products.

Tein basics do not come with pillow ball mounts. You have to get Type Flex for that.

I plan on going KTS myself.

Do a search this has been covered countless times...

No coilover comes with rear adjustable pillowball mounts. Most come with front adjustable mounts. All real coilovers come with pillowball mounts. Keyword here is adjustable.

Awww ok. The description does state that it includes front and rear pillowball upper mounts but the front are only adjustable. I should have caught this from the picture alone LOL.

But the Teins don't even come with pillow mounts not to speak of adjustable front ones.

P.S. I have heard nothing but negative about KTS... Overall the race is between the Tein's and Megan's and so far the Megan's are winning.

Thanks guys!

Are you serious? KTS makes pretty good coilovers. And they have a great reputation because of it. They are height and dampening adjustable, unlike the Teins, Tanabe, and World Sports.

IMO The only coilover on your list that can give the KTS coils some competition is the Megans. Ksports are another option. They cost about the same as the Megans and theyre adjustable.

Oops I was referring the the Ksports, was told to stay a stick away from them LOL. The KTS arent for sale on that site, how much do they run?

$1101, but yeah not too much more for coils with a good rep.

KTS would be my number one choice without a doubt. Theres some good discussion about entry level coils in this thread...zerothread?id=164887

Huh?

You can't even begin to compare Tein to KTS... Megan to KTS is hardly a fair fight.

Basics are for Retards, its like spending 850 for OEM Replacement Shocks and Ebay sleeveovers.

Megans are at least double height and dampning adjustable.

Get the KTS, they aren't a comlpete ripoff like Tein and they're valved better than Megans.
