I don't think so. I think they're n/a V-6's, but I could be wrong. I looked at the IS before getting my TSX.

N/A I6
is300 come with 2jzge
none of them ever came factory turbo, although some of the altezza (jdm spec is300) come with a turbo 3sgte. (VERY RARE)

Also, it's not just an aftermarket turbo, it's an jdm spec motor

OK, I just looked it up. It seems we're both correct. Prior to 2007, the IS 300 had an N/A I-6. But 2007 and after they switched to a V6. The ones I looked at were all 2007 and later.

My bet is on a 1JZ GS300.

I had to look the other pages to see if I already posted MIATA already in here...nope.

That's your bang-for-your buck right there. Unless you need more room and you mentioned a Maxima, then that's a good choice too but not in the same category of driving entertainment that is. If you're going to be in college get something you don't have to worry about. Trust me.

nice car, but in the future, I recommend leaving your first post on the first page alone. Kinda sucks for the folks that commented over the next few pages based on that first post.

Didn't think about that my bad.

And Razzafraz, This thing is so...
let's just say 225 is TOO small of a tire in the rear. ALL it does is smoke.
