Did OP ever get his wheels and tires on?

I had the R35 GTR rims with 275/30 out back on a 10.5 +25 et but had to pull the fenders and run -3 camber I think...this was on HT techs...think I'm going back to the same setup but this time with CO's so I can get lower than I was on the HT's and still have decent ride.

Yeap! I got the Hankook V12EVO 245/35/20" front and 275/30/20" rear! My wheels offset was the main concern... 20"x10" +35 it actually fit super flush!! I'll have to get pictures up tonight for you guys to see!!

Looking darn good with the new setup.

Wheels new, or you picked them up on a good deal from someone else?

I may have to do the same.... I have a few wheels ideas on the table, but I would love to go with something forged, and on the lighter side of weight. But forkin over the loot for forged wheels is getting hard to swallow now a days..

will that +35 clear the BBK?

I'm not sure on BBK clearance I haven't got that yet... but it's not the offset that matters. These wheels were custom made so it's the disk type that matters. Although it looks like it will clear be bbk!!!

Sounds good! :bigthumb: weather down here is going to be nasty for the next week so as soon as I can I will!! You know I really thought I would stick to my stock 19" for a while but these popped up and I had to jump on it!! For the quality I now have, I paid a pretty penny with new tires but I know I got quality at a great price this time around!! I would say keep looking... Right now seems a lot of the guys are looking for that new look of the season and letting their still great wheels go for a good price!! Good luck!!

If you still have the labels inside of the barrels it will tell you what disk they are. I think it has to be A or R disk to clear without spacers. My works are O disk 20x8.5 +38 and needed a 20mm spacer to clear bbk up front. As for weight its not that bad, my schwerts weigh almost the same as my 19" I forged wheels. Also I think work wheels are 2 piece welded forged and others are 3 piece forged. Forgestar makes good wheels at a decent price and like bodyguard did buy purchasing used can get you good deals on forged wheels.

- Please break it down, as to what the disk is / which part of the rim assembly it is? Never dealt with custom sized wheels, so i wouldn't know. But i'm quite sure it'll be helpful to know for future reference.

The wheels do have the label but they are inside now.. Lol! I believe they were A disc and by looking at the wheel space between brakes and rim, they definitely will fit! The space with my 19 was very small compared to the space with the new wheels!!
