HELP: SR20DET Whistle nose

i have this problem and seem to not knowing what it was. awhile the car is running i heard a whistle nose that coming from the intake manifold area. ( loud enough to hear ) my motor also shaking a little bit and idling is kind rough. once it whistling few second i took out the dip stick and air rush out and whistle is gone. now i put the dip stick back on and few second later whistle is back.

anybody know this? its been doing this for awhile now and i'm concern of it. hopefully you sr20 experts can help me out. thanks...

sounds like your head might need to breath. did you plug up the venting tee (the other side goes to the catch can)?

maybe a bad pcv valve???

my stock oil catch hose connect to the tee to the valve cover but the other side of the tee has no hose. so i just cover with a bypass cap. is that normal?

where is the pcv locate?

Far left corner on the valve cover. It connects to your intake manifold right behind the fuel rail.

i notice that there was leaking alittle bit of oil. let me try to tighten up alittle bit. I remember that I used to have individual throttle bodies from gtiR and custom manifold (regret it for trade) and i replace it back to stock sr20 and probably the guy that swapped it he might of not tight it enough. let me check it out. hopefully that solve the problem.
