oh nooooooooo

damn bro i remember that car being up on craigslist a while back and thought it was a steal. i was even more jealous when you posted pictures and it looked EVEN BETTER.

but sadly i have heard geico is one of the worst ins. companies to insure with...if the lady is at full fault then you shouldn't even have to pay for anything you should be getting money to fix that up. i really don't wanna see a car that clean get totalled out and i'm sure you definately don't.

hopefully everything is in favor of you and that you get full reimbursement although things will never be the same...good luck man.

They are 03 Z wheels and yes they are similar to the Max but they aren't the Max wheels

youre not crazy. maximas just have a little flair on the spokes near the rim. plus theyre like 18x7.5 +42? so they wouldn't fit as snug on a 240

Get the money to fix it, or let the Ins. total it, buy it back, and fix it.

They said my case is still under "investigation" thats what Geico said. I don't see how cause it's a clear cut case. Theres no way around it the lady was drunk and ****ed up. No word on my car.

P.S.- I just realized that I have one of those limited edition Momo leather steering wheels with the red stitching . Its a 500-600 wheel.

Thats gotta be the nicest S14 ive ever seen

I was in a simular situation you were in not to long ago....

i got hit with my S13 (the body was total CRAP my car was a perfect sleeper) i had alot of work done i showed my insurance company 6 grand worth of recpits parts/labor + the Sr motor install they gave me 2,500 i bought the car back for 300 bucks! (immagine walking into a junk yard and findin an SR like that)....and i origanilly paid 800 for the car

i walked out with 1400 + ALL My SR goodies....

End of story i used that 1400 + another 2 grand for a 1994 Vert...

now i wait till friday and i will pick up my Red vert with the Sr black top... and i drive to a sunset....

Hope everything works out for you i'd hate to see a super clean car like that getting JUNKED

Things are looking up. I just have to go buy the accident report and give it to her insurance so we shall see. Right now I'm collecting parts, so far I have a FMIC in the works, and steering wheel. Now I just need a new dash with passenger side airbags, front bumper (USDM Kouki), headlights, corner lights, clear turn signals, hood, and both fenders.

+1 on pics of radiator support. Damn shame to see your car like that. I love stockish lookin S14 kouki's.

If your airbags went off and if your frame or radiator support is bent i think your out of luck

man it sucked to see those "after" pics

that lady does sound kinda shady, leaving the scene of the accident and saying she drank at home right after

I hope the case closes in your favor, GL.

I have yet to pop the hood and check underneath it since her insurance hasn't come to look at it. The car drove straight after the accident, no fluids leaked or anything.

Also, the air bags and dash are easy to replace. I already have an S15 Spec R wheel on the way courtesy of a buddy. And I found a passenger side air bag for $55 from a 95 S14. And a dash is about $200. so thats like 255 + shipping already and that covers my interior. I already have a new radiator and HIDs, all I need is a USDM kouki bumper ($100-$250), Radiator core support ($300), intercooler ($300), Kouki Headlights ($500) and etc...

I'm thinkin like 3-4K in parts (being generous) and another 3-4K for paint and labor. I know I can find all the parts I need for less.

Alright. Well as an update.....

I have to go to physical therapy because of back pain and I'm still on pain meds. I am still waiting on the accident report from the incident and I have decided while this long and arduous process is going to drive me nuts to slowly gather all the parts for my car.

I already have a steering wheel, radiator, HID kit and new driver seat (pick it up friday). I also have new headlights, corner lights and front bumper turn signals on the way. I'm debating on simply repairing the dash or modifying it. I'm saving for a new radiator support, FMIC, bumper, hood and fenders.

The hood I will get last due to the fact I can't decide on whether to go factory hood again or carbon fiber or carbon/kevlar. While the car is down I'm going to do a battery relocation, and possibly get the wheels powered coated or anodized.

Your fixing it before the insurance claimer comes and looks at it? Im sorry but did i read this thread wrong....? If you fix it before anyone see's it how the hell are you gonna prove the amount of damage? I think im missing something here

Too bad she didn't have state farm. I got rear ended by a woman who had state farm and got 8,000+ for my S13!! I showed them 10,000 worth of receipts. When the claims adjuster came to check the car he even gave me an extra 1,000 for my sr20det......I mean "new ka" haha. Good luck with the case and just keep fighting!
