help rear traction problem!!! wheel spin

Dude I know people who have ran welded diffs for years with no problems besides going threw more tires.Sure it messes the tire up but all that other stuff you mentioned is fine.You can't even use capital letters or proper sentences and we are suppose to listen to you?

a welded diff will do damage to the car goin around turns its not ment for daily driving you can damage ring and pinion gears, axles, and u joints and driveshaft, the "chatter" around turns is the inside tire trying to slow down its like a shock wave thru the whole drivetrain like grinding gears , a open rear allows the tires to spin a different speeds goin around turns, a welded rear has the spider gears removed (these gears allow the wheels to spin at different speeds) and the side gears are welded to the carrier (what the ring gear is bolted to) the foce of the inside tire trying to slow down has to go some were. i would get rid of it befor you mess something up and a nissan calls for 80/90 gear oil i use 75/90 synthetic ill try and find a exploded view of a rear its hard to understand if you dont know how a rear works

im kewl with it coz i stil have my stock open differential and its not really a daily driver... 3 cars and my r6... will make it last!!!

im also changing my subframe bushings... ... just got it yesterday and i knoe it will help my car alot...

UF is a joke.They try and pretend to be all prestigious so that people think they are a top school but they aren't, and outside of Florida people laugh when you say UF like it's M.I.T. or something its just another state school get over-yourself. Everyone that goes there thinks they are going to harvard or something but it's yet another state school and the haughtiness and people walking around with a stick up there *** like they are gods gift to this world gets old real quick.

Before you make any accusations, I didn't even apply to go there because I hated the damn town and students so much when I visited my sister (who know thinks she's the **** because she went there even though she majored in elementary education.)

Sounds like somebody couldn't get in... UF is a top 50 school and for a southern public school with dirt cheap cost per credit hour, that's impressive. Where'd you go? USC?

just got a 95 j30 vlsd from the junk yard for $150 and theyre the ones who took it out... not a bad deal!!!

i know vlsd sucks but im ok with it and ill just keep my welded diff for drift. thanks again for the help guys!!!

i had a similar problem with the limited slip i got with my front clip. from stop if i had to turn hard my rear end would shake and both wheels would wanna spin at the same speed. first time i filled up the rear end with synthetic and one tube of additive - thats when i first noticed it. then i changed the gear oil with regular conventional oil and 2 tubes of of additive and now its 95% better. got the limited slip additive at advance auto parts.
