After owning my m35s for almost a year, I just purchased (have not installed yet) Tein-H springs which i plan on getting installed next week, I feel like its time to consider wheels! I know rims are all about personal choices BUT, i'm on the fence with two styles for my vehicle and wanted you guys opinion OR possible other options! My 2008 M35s came with the older sport wheels which actually looks pretty good on it IMO. Here's are the specs on the rims i'll be looking at along with pics:

Size: 20x9 +38 offset front
20x10.5 +45 offset rear
Lowering springs: Tein H

my car: 2008 M35s (yes i'm missing an exhaust tip....trying PATIENTLY on a Megan Exhaust or dropping the wallet on Stillen)

Option 1: Vossens CV3

Option 2: TSW Mirabeau

I'm with you. The oem sport wheels look good. Both rim choices are great. I would lean toward the split spoked TSW personally but like you said it's just personal preference and everyone's taste is different. I don't care for the black interior of the Vossen wheel. I prefer wheels to be one color but others love the two tone look. I think the split spoke retains a little more oem-ish look but better.

i was leaning towards the one color tone of rims also but then I watched the youtube video of the m37 on the two tone vossens and had me WOW! Linked here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7jsY9Zle8c

The big benifit of the TSW's is that they are almost $1,000 dollars cheaper. Heres a video of those also:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lrMVLroiZ0

Sorry for all the videos BUT seeing pictures of wheels vs either seeing them in person or them in a video makes it hard to judge sometimes. I feel like they are both beautiful wheels. I'm hoping to find a store that has the TSW's in stock so i can view them!

Again, all just personal opinion; but I think the CV3s with the black inserts & barrel would match the car much better. They tie the paint color in with the wheels.

You have a point there! plus i'm getting impatient waiting on Megan. three exhaust tips is not a good look and didnt want to pay $50 on ebay for just one tip!

I just wish someone had the TSW's on a M35 BUT there's a possibility that i'll be the first one. Trying to decide on something by next month so I can enjoy them for the rest of the spring/ summer and some of the fall before the winter! I also purchased a ton of car care products from http://www.chemicalguys.com last night including there Black Luminous Glow Infusion wax! Cant wait to spend hours on hours waxing and detailing one coming up weekend :mike

Hey Iburton,

After you buy your new wheels, will you be selling your old sport wheels?

Between those two I would go with the CV3. I myself have had my eyes on the Velgen VMB5 for quite some time.

I pretty much set myself on choosing the cv3s when/ if I decide to still purchase wheels. In going back n forth I started to think to just refinish my sport wheels. I'm calling the shop in the morning to hopefully drop my car off to get lowered on the tein h springs. I think then I'll decide on wheels...I'll post before and after pics!

I love those velgen wheels! What finish were you thinking about going with? Better price than volsens also! You're in the ATL area aren't you?

Yes I am in ATL, Gwinnett County. I've seen those Vossens on a very very nicely done Camry. I'm a huge sucker for split 5 spoke wheels though, especially when they flare out toward the lip. That's probably why I got 03 Accord Coupe 6mt wheels for my last car, and certainly one of the reasons I was drawn toward the M. I may even just keep these sport wheels and just drop on Tein STECH and go with 15mm spacers. But I salivate over the VMB5s and would probably get dark chrome or gunmetal. I don't want them too dark though.

And I'm in Cobb area. So I'm sure we'll cross paths eventually. I hardly see the 08+ sports driving around. Yea I also love the split 5s and cv3 style wheels! Bull like you....I might just lower on the stocks with spacers and using the money on the stillen or hks exhaust since Megan will be hardly available. Your choice of rims are sexy sexy too and had me thinking!

Hey PM me and we can spend the $20 in gas to meet up clean our cars and do a photo shoot. I definitely see more 06-07 but there's an identical sport to mine rolling around Gwinnett mall area and a black one that goes to my gym.

What's up with the Megan exhaust? Discontinued or just takes a long time to get? I like the sound and I like the burnt tip version. It's a crime to have a VQ or VK and not open it up to hear it better with a good exhaust. I'm even thinking about Flowmaster 40s. :couch

CV3's are by far my favorite, GTR wheels if you can afford them and find 4x fronts, or keep it classy with the factory 19's.

I know limited info on the Megans other than they are on back order and typically when they come back, they're all accounted for. They have the OEM look, subtle/ deep sound and are fairly cheaper than other exhaust systems out there for the M's. I was trying to hold back for it but i'm starting to lean towards something else like the ones i said in my other post. If i'm wrong about the status on the exhaust, please someone correct me. Hate to give out the wrong info...

As far as the flowmaster 40's? I have not a clue on about that on the M's. i would search the threads and yourtube search for feedback and sound clips! You'll see a PM from me here shortly. Off to lunch!

I know it's loud but it sounds so good. Everyone tells me it will drone and will drive me nuts. I had flows before so I know and I didn't mind lol.

I love that sound as well, but It is too loud. There are tons of peeps out there with Mustangs that make that sound and they love it so by all means, keep them if you like them! but imagine a long road trip with that non-stop droan. It does sound much better and much more throaty and powerful than the Meagans, but the volume does it in for me. If anyone decides to make the lower volume of the Meagans with the deep throaty sound of your Magna Flows, I'm IN ! Till then I'll stay with the OEM set-up.

Well I can agree with that! Has anyone seen the CV3 and Milan in person and how they would rate them? Maybe it's me but the Milan doesn't look as concave as the cv3

CV3 looks amazing. Saw it on a slammed Camry SE with stretched tires. I should have taken pictures.
