Hey guys! Im in new to the forum and wanted some help with some suggestions.
Here's my Pathfinder

Image

I know its kind of got a rusty side and want to know how i can fill it up. Can i just fill it up with clay or something else?

Image

Next i plan to repair my front bumper but i had a thought on adding led lights inside the grill and was wondering if there were any tutorials on it.

Image

3rd i want to change the lights to led in the dash (don't be fooled, the picture might look good but really its fading from my point of view) but being a noob i have no idea how to or which lightbulbs to get, if there is a tutorial on them it would be greatly appreciated.

Lastly i want to change the lights where the transmission is because its fading and I'm having trouble deciding on which method i should use for my iPhone.

a) a mount
b) another dash with a usb port
c) some sort of iPhone to car kit so i can control songs and calls without having to look at the iPhone

extra: i want to clean the speaker grills, how would i take them out

I love my pathfinder and i want to learn from it and treat it right

Thanks for your help guys!

Welcome to NICO.

If you haven't yet, have your Pathfinder inspected for the strut housing corrosion recall. The only way to permanently remove the rust is to sand off all the rust and apply primer and paint.

See this post for an example of a complete interior LED conversion. The bulb sizes are in the posts following.

You can't remove the speaker grilles, they are integrated into the door panels. See this thread for instructions on door panel removal.

Your headlights seem kinda cloudy. I'd suggest purchasing a bottle of Meguiar's PlastX and polishing your headlights with it using a microfiber rag.

Thanks! and is it easy to change the lights on the transmission? And as for a music solution is it possible to mount a tablet but with this setting and not altering the dash?

Thanks again!

See this thread for instructions on accessing the back of the instrument cluster.

To access the shifter bulb, remove the ashtray then remove the screw under it, then pry the entire center console trim up. Rotate it in order to have it clear the shift knob. The shifter bulb twist base is clearly visible and shouldn't be too difficult to access from there.

I have no idea regarding a phone mounting solution, sorry.
