Anything is possible, but I would just replace it anyway. Nissan upgraded this part later on with a larger oil gallery.

It could be my technique but everything I've ever JB welded has given out in about 3 months time. Best to buy a new one like SpeedRacer said.

Just go to the junkyard and pay $2 to get in, walk around and every time you see a G20 or a sentra with a sr take it off. then just put them in you're pocket and go home that way you get like 3 or 4 of them for only $2.

Yup valve covers look the same, but on the G20 on the valve cover it says infinity instead of Nissan and the Sentra one looks the same as ares but side ways. And a tensioner out of either engine works for the rwd sr20. I'm using one of a G20 SR
