HELP HELP FUEL TANK GAP

Hey guys


Recnetly, serve engine light is on and the code is for EVAP. couldnt figure out what is going on but I notice one thing, one of the part for fuel cap is missing. my car is 2010 ex35

when everytime you go to gas station, you open the gas door ,turn the gas cap and then you should see a piece of metal brackets or metal flap in the middle of your fuel neck . I think the piece of metal is missing in my car, ( I am not sure but I remember i saw it before

Could someone please open your gas door and see if you can see the piece of metals after removing gas caps
